2 ) Last year was special. Hasbro has locked down on their factories, and stolen prototypes are nill now. And Takara never leaks out of their factories ever.
3 ) The US Dollar has been down in the dumps before. But that's not going to stop Transformers collectors from buying figures. That's not going stop parents from buying kid's toys for their birthday. And it's certainly not stopping X-mas
4 ) The movie line is just way too strong to put the axe on it. Hasbro knows how much money they can get from throwing the Dark Of The Moon logo on their packaging
5 ) The 2007 Movie toyline has one new Voyager (Incinerator) post main line. ROTF has 7 (Bludgeon, Mindwipe, New Fallen, Battle Blades Optimus Prime, Highbrow, Lugnut and SeaSpray). To say that there won't be any new Voyager is way too bold of a claim. Hasbro plans 2-3 years in the future. They have things covered. .
6 ) Entertainment Earth can be great at times, but they're not 100% correct.
7 ) Like what? All we know is that we're getting 5 Transformers: Prime toys, and a handful of loose rumors on Generations. Nothing is concrete right now, and Hasbro wouldn't stop their DOTM toy line when it's movie was just release a week ago.
8 ) 2007 and 2009 Christmas were oversaturated with brand new Transformers Movie figures. I doubt 2011 is going to break that chain.
You're awfully pessimistic for being optimistic. Just be patient man.
(1) most of the time SDCC mirrors what was shown at botcon in that same year. It's usually like this 9 out of 10 times.
(2)It wasn't just last year. those factory workers have been heavily stealing TF toys from factories & selling them on-line way back from the beastwars toy line days & have continued non-stop till today.
Has hasbro locked down on their factories? I don't know.
(3)yeah but the dollar is down, last time is was this down THIS BADLY was during the 1970's/During the 2 world wars & the 1920's. never has gas been this high. gasoline has trippled in price per gallon from 6 years ago.
it'll take a while for the dollar & gasoline prices to go back to what the middle/lower class considers normal. it won't happen over night nor within a 6 month period. this will take years upon years to happen.
(4)I agree the movie lines are very strong. no ones saying it'll get 100% axed. hasbro will simply stop making new molds. and release older waves & repaints for the christmas buying season this year.
(5)The ROTF blue fallen wasn't a 100% new mold. it was a remold.
(6)Entertainment earth's info i'm referencing comes directly from Hasbro very own case assortment info.
(7 &

The DOTM toy line will last shorter in stores because their will be no TF4 movie in 2013.
the only reason ROTF kept getting newer molds,repaints/older waves on shelves so long. is because their was A dotm movie in 2011.
hasbro tried not to take a break & release rotf up until the very last mninute to make a fluid change into DOTM.
even going to the extent of having the ROTF toy line get sub titles like nest allegiance,HFTD & RTS.
the 2007 movie toy line was released in the good o'l days/years before the economy crashed & gasoline prices trippled. back then the average TF toy line was on shelves/peg for around 18 months.
THESE DAYS hasbro has to keep re-thinking their strategies, release less & not make the individual TF toy lines be in stores past a certain time frame.
Retail chain stores are getting very strict because of the downward spiral economy. they want less on shelves/pegs & want to wrap up individua toy lines quicker.
retail stores aren't doing that great in buyers emptying shelves/pegs compared to years ago. retail stores order less not to get stuck with a over abundance.
Recently all the reatail stores in america took a major blow when they had to extreme clearance everything in order to make room for the DOTM toys.usually when stores do this they feel un-comfortable & order less of the brand the company creates.
