I've always regretted trading my G1 Jetfire for a toy that I don't even remember.
Do any of you have any Transformers you regret losing or giving away??

I regret buying G1 Starsabre. He is very definitely a character you need some level of emotional attachment to, to enjoy the toy.
The big regret is selling him at the time I did. A mint, 0% yellowing, stickers unapplied, boxed (easy C9 or 10) example.... sold on Ebay for £50.
Don't ask what I paid for it originally. :headhurts:

Tons of regrets. If I had taken better care of my toys after I "outgrew" them, I'd still have an original Shockwave, an original Omega Supreme, and many more. Only about half of my original G1 toys survived.

All my G2 cyberjets... especially Space case who literally would no longer hold together... all thrown in the garbage

Oh man, I am currently regretting not getting the Universe 2.0 toys, especially Beast Wars Dinobot. I also regret not getting ROTF Leader Optimus Prime, Transformers Generations Cybertronian Optimus Prime and the Alternators when they first came out (but I was able to get some at similar prices to when they first came out recently so its not too bad for the alternators).

Re: Transformer Regrets??
Thankfully, I never got rid of any of my figures (although two or three were stolen at different points).
However, I never used to apply the stickers to any of my figures because I had a bad experience with the first Transformers I applied stickers to and vowed never to do it again. Then, I threw out all the sticker sheets.
Now that I'm more into display value, I really wish I had those sheets. I could probably go to Repo labels but that's a lot a money I really don't want to spend.

My main regret is having given away my G1 Protectobots team when I "outgrew" toys. The only thing I have left of that is one tiny, tiny white gun I randomly found.

My parents would regularly purge my toy bin for Good-Will, and my G1 Devastator suffered.
However, I recently found Devastator's head and one of his spring-loaded fists in my lego box... kind of reminiscent of TFA Megatron, actually!

First, welcome to Seibertron!
Second, yeah, I do regret not picking some TFs when they came out. Like ROTF Leader Megatron. I was barely starting collecting and at 50$ on clearance, it was too ugly and expansive for my taste. Then, came the DOTM movie and no leader Megs toy. This made the ROTF Leader Megs soar up to 200$! Luckily, I could get one via a trade by giving a broken MP Starscream.
As for the Alternatos, good news for you. Because of the new MP line, many Alternators are going down in price. I may have a couple for sale for a very reasonable price. Just PM me if you are interested.

Right now, I'm regretting pre-ordering the first four Transformers Cloud figures. Not even Prime and Megs have shipped yet. What's taking so long? I was all for the idea of having some fun, unexpected repaints of familiar characters, but that novelty has worn off. Plus, I've dropped my plans for replacing my Classics Prime with Cloud Prime for my Classics display, because I just went ahead and got the Henkei version (enough said). I'm probably going to cancel my Cloud preorders and get my money back. That savings will probably go towards this year's BotCon set instead. I'm loving that G1 redeco of Energon Scorponok with Headmaster retooling!

Woah, dude! Talk about impulse purchase!
Unless you have a LOT of money to burn, getting all 4 REPAINTS at almost 100$ each is prety hardcore. Botcon level of hardcore. Maybe pre-ordering the one you like the most?
I, myself, would like to get the G1 colored Supreme Starscream, but I'm confident it will eventually go on sale.

i preordered megatron and starscream. i know theres not much love for the GDO megs, but ive made sense of this figure in my head: remember the big chromey sword that G1 megs came with? im going to see if that fits in the bludgeon molds hands. failing that, he'll get the chromey sword that came with the fansprojects prime trailer that was intented for grimlock. i think that will give him a "long forgotten vibe". cause we all remember that sword, but who ever used it? now we have a G1 colored sword weilding megatron! so ima give him a proper sword-Kanrabat- wrote:Woah, dude! Indeed, that's why I'm just going to cancel my preorders. There's some other great stuff coming up that's much more worthy of my dollar.

I've found that the extra swords that come with the Construct Bots sets work wonderfully! I've given one to Bludgeon, GDO Megs, and even to Prime Thundertron.

Interesting idea! I'll have to inspect the Construct-bots a bit more closely next time I see them.

Re: Transformer Regrets??
I regret that I never did bite the bullet and get the one Lucky Draw black Magmatron that was listed/relisted by this one seller on ebay for ages for $1000. I kept waiting for the price to drop so I could really afford it without having to load up my credit card, but then I got a massive pay raise and right when I was in a position for the price not to matter, the final listing ended (he didn't sell it, at least not on ebay, it just ended, not 'sold') and it hasn't been seen since, not from him and not from any other seller. I check back often enough to see if one has come up yet, but I haven't seen one yet and it's been many months. I'm hoping one gets listed on there before too long because my Japanese TRU exclusive black Big Convoy is missing his adversary.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I am that which is, which was, and is yet to come.
And you will know my name is MEGATRON when I lay my vengeance upon you!

black fire convoy and the green "matrix glow" unicron.
i had a couple opportunities to get both, through ebay and actually a friend of mine who has the craziest hardcore collection and connections. but at the time i wasnt the collector i am now. i wasnt willing to spend that kind of money on anything really and this is actually sort of a good thing. im looking back now, im thinking that i dont really need the BFC in my collection. the unicron however i would still love to own, and pending on price i think id jump at it.

I regret:
--Spending money on G1 figures. Turns out they're NOT what I wanted to collect
--Spending money on Alternators. Same reason as G1 figures.
--Selling many of my Armada figures, especially the Minicons, whom I'm now in the process of re-buying.
--Also, I threw out a perfectly Mint G1 Omega Supreme. He was in pieces in a plastic bag for moving. That bag was then tossed out with the rest of moving-related detritus.
