So which is it? Is IMDB telling the truth... I think so. But some of my friends say it won't happen they will just make a whole new thing like they did with TMNT.

ok all we know about TF2 is that there will be a TF2. it was only given the green light 2 weeks b4 TF1's american release. TF2 has yet to be written. if anything they just have some random idea about what they wanna do. so dont trust anything you see right now about plot, because its all speculation and rumours.

Well i'm for it,besides I like to get the movie 2 Devastator if he will be release for the movie. And Soudnwave,too anyway, if the second movie comes out I will take the hole movie wave for sure but I hope that their will be a comeback for Devastator and Soundwave, and anyway, the end of the first movie took 2 Decepticons survivers Starscream, Scorponok and Barricade and Megatron I don't think is defeated yet.

Look at the profit they are making with the film, crittics are very good so far. The toys are the hottest things right now. Big money is made with this. This will be a trilogy for sure. Might even go beyond that. Just wait until the DVD comes out. Man, this has a $ sing on it.

A sequel is inevitable, but one of the things that made the first film so appealing was the buildup to seeing all the bots in action and transform for the first time. Now we have seen all this and know how they all work that feeling of anticipation just wont be there for the sequel UNLESS they can bring in some really popular characters and make them look simply amazing.

Whatever the case it'll be a great film, but it might turn out like the Matrix trilogy did, a victim of its own success. First film was amazing, second film was good for the fans and entertaining and the third was a competant but lacking end to the franchise.
