An image from a Hasbro product catalog has revealed Transformers Bot Shots wave 4 and 5. The series continues to draw inspiration from across Transformers universe with figures ranging from G1 to Movie universe. Images (albeit blurry ones) courtesy of TFW2005 user ssjkazer can be found by clicking here. Wave 4 is schedule for July, wave 5 is scheduled for September.

Autobot Jazz
Leadfoot
Optimus Prime (chase figure, clear blue plastic)

Wave 5

Skywarp
Roadbuster
Megatron (Dark of the Moon)
Bumblebee (with Battlemask)
Shockwave (chase figure, clear purple plastic)

Oh my! Jazz, Powerglide, SKYWARP!!!! Why must I wait so long for these. I swear if there is some kind of Devestator Combiner-type one of these that comes down the line I will love it forever!!!!! These things are like crack...so blasted addicting!

I like this line. Its a neat little amalgamation of the lines... which, seems to be their push now. First with kre-o, and now with botshots.

Didnt they say something about 40 new generation figures in the works? how many of those are going to be amalgams like these are. I would not mind a new Sentinel Prime, a Barricade, etc. done in classics/Generations style.

I do have to admit, i'm still looking for other stuff over botshots. This paste week in TRU they had the 3 packs with evil prime and colored guy sentinel, and I decided to buy some kick ass beyblade sets instead.

These little guys are kind of cool, but they're yet to hit that selling point, where I'll actually buy them. 5 dollars for a little guy like that is a bit much too.

That's not how it works, if the stores don't want to stock FE and the last DOTM wave, Hasbro can't bring them back without releasing them in a line that stores do want to stock, plain and simple. |:|

Disappointed with how Wave 4's just Autobots, but Wave 5 redeems it by having both Skywarp and Shockwave.

My only gripe about the Bot Shots line is how long each wave is taking to come out, July, September??!! It's going to take seven months for these to come out! How much development time could these things take? They all have the exact same transformation! I mean for main line toys it's good that they take a while to come out because I can save up for them in that time, but not these things. You don't need to save up for Bot Shots, they're an impulse buy. :BOOM:
