Best Buy has an interesting deal for the 360 HD-DVD player this week. You can get a free copy of Heroes Season 1 (a $79.99 value) and, if you're willing to do a little haggling, you can also potentially get any 2 free HD-DVD's in store, including Transformers. This is because there's another page on the ad which states that buying any HD-DVD player nets you 2 free ones in store. So, all you gotta do (if you want to), is go to the manager or customer service and explain that the 360 player is technically an HD-DVD player. So potentially, you can get a total of 9 free HD-DVD's (5 free by mail, 2 in store, 1 Heroes, and 1 King Kong). It's a shame I already have a 360 player from a long time ago, which makes me nauseous.

Even if you don't want a 360 HD-DVD player, you can still get 7 free including Transformers with a regular HD-DVD player. So if you're waiting to get HD, now might be the time.
