I was almost tempted to pick a second quake to use as machine wars soundwave or someething like, but I think it would have to be cheaper than the £8 at home bargains for me to bite.
Triggerhappys got some fun poses, gun arms and a nice transformation, I'm not keen on his white decepticon symbol tho, I was tempted to pick a legends to get his target master but it's great that blowpipes going to be available in the siege series.

Slugsilnger was the sole wave 6 new figure with a bunch of repacks from previous waves. So it wouldn't have been "shelves full" of them. 2 Slugslingers per case, along with 2 per case of the other figures.
Now if you were saying you personally saw that, I am impressed. I never saw Slugslinger en masse at retail.

Slugslinger was 3x per case with Hardhead being shortpacked at 1x for wave 6.

Here you go!
Took this at the Heaton Park Home Bargains last week, but was sure someone else had clocked it already.
Picked up a Krok and Quake. Hoping the get a Triggerhappy without a badly painted face (the dream!)

Heaton Park's about 15 mins north of Manchester Centre. Probably worth pointing out that no Quality Saves seem to have them, just the Home Bargains.

I'm based in Buckinghamshire.
TF-fan kev777 & mordhelm I can confirm Hardhead was also on the shelf.
It was a shelf (1) full of Slugslingers and Hardheads. I work close to the store and anything 'Generations' goes very quickly. I didn't intend to mislead the masses by letting people think there were 100s.
Same with Combiner Wars Wheeljack, Hound, Smokescreen & Trailbreaker when they had 1 shelf full of them.
The store usually gets 2-3 boxes of anything transformers generations related as I have asked the stores toys and games staff.
The store is currently littered with a lot of transformers movie stuff and naff RID15 bits and nothing generations.
If you guys want to start a UK transformers toy 'web' on here I don't see a problem with that and with a DBaD policy to buy and sell to each other.
DBaD = don't be a dick; basically no marking up prices etc just retail price paid and very fair p&p for example '2nd class sign for' is currently £3.95.

I swung by Home Bargains again this dinner time. This is the state of play right now.
2 x Twinferno
1 x Quake
1 x Krok
Again, this is the Heaton Park HB.

OK, so over in the UK it's the same as the USA? You get tons of this wave with Triggerhappy/Krok/Twinferno/Quake & then it skips over the Misfire wave (Wave 5) & goes straight to Wave 6 Slugslinger? Is that right?
What the hell happened to the Misfire/Windblade/Twin Twist wave??? It never showed up in the USA either. Ollie's is loaded with Triggerhappy/Krok/Twinferno/Quake but I can't find Misfire, Windblade or Twin Twist to save myself.

TR Wave 5 did apparently show up in extremely limited locations and quantities in the US. I'm thankful that I just bit the bullet and pre-ordered Misfire/Windblade/TwinTwist from BBTS as I never found them myself in stores, but I did find evidence of Wave 5 at a single Target just once. The empty box from Hasbro in their pile of broken down boxes, and a lone Wolfwire on the shelf. I already had them in hand from BBTS at the time or I would have really been pissed to have just missed them in store.

Has anyone picked up the Target exclusive "Bumblebee Cassette Pack," yet? (Technically, this could go in the "Bumblebee movie toys" thread, but it fits here too, especially because it's a comparison to a Titans Return release that I'm making.) I was looking forward to this, expressly because we would finally get the blue redeco companion to red "Rumble" from Titans Return to complete the duo of Soundwave's humanoid robot spy buddies. I'm happy blue "Frenzy" is finally out. I like it. I like it paired with Rumble. But, I'm not sure if I "love" it.
In robot mode, the pair look fantastic together. They have exactly the same paint apps applied, so they're perfect "twinsies"...almost. Frenzy has blue optics for whatever reason. It makes no real sense, as there isn't blue paint anywhere else on the figure. It could have easily been red to match with Rumble and with their cartoon appearances (and with most other Decepticon appearances, for that matter). I know there are always some prominent exceptions to the rule, but blue eyes are for Autobots, and red eyes are for Decepticons. Even the live action movies mostly follow this rule!
Besides the blue optics issue, I actually would have preferred that Frenzy had gotten silver paint apps in place of the gold/bronze ones. They do match up with TR Rumble perfectly, which is appealing to many people, but I always like cartoon accuracy. The "blue guy" in the G1 cartoon had the silver detailing while the "red guy" had gold. It's not exactly a deal breaker, and it is more just a personal preference, so I can't really say Hasbro "did it wrong." I believe the original toys both had the gold detailing on the robots, so, of course, that's Hasbro's bag.
What is a little disappointing is that the two don't quite match up as well with one another in alt mode. The stickers to emulate their "tablet screens" are completely different. They should be the same image in different colors, like the G1 toys/cartoon character models. What's worse, though, is that Frenzy is actually missing a few paint details in alt mode that Rumble has, such as coloring in his "Home" button, the black on the "rubber grips" on the side of the tablet case, and the Decepticon sigil tampographs in the upper right corner of the device.
So, all in all, Frenzy is a welcome addition to the Titans Return line via a movie line release (sneaky Hasbro!). Rumble and Frenzy look great together in robot mode, but don't quite get it right with their alt mode paint and sticker differences. For now, though, they haven't quite surpassed "Transformers Adventure" Rumble and Frenzy for me on my Classics shelf. Here's hoping War for Cybertron: Siege will bring us a "Soundwave Battle Pack" of the red and blue duo next year!

You know, with Titans Return having come and gone its a shame we never got the 'green and purple camo G2 Megatron' deco for the TR Blitzwing/Megatron mold. Granted we did get the Hero Megatron/Archforce deco from Takara, at least. But still: no eggplant field camo tank and neither did we get it for the CW Leader mold.

The Purple camo type was released as BW Megatron in his new form. Well BW Megatron from the Legends universe in Japan.
