Nah I think it will be a waste of money considering it can't Transform by itself.Scream wrote:Thats a good plan, you should ask for the Ult BB for christmas.

Picked up Robot Heroes Mirage/Starscream & Hot Rod/Shrapnel(filler names be damned), BK Ironhide, & last, but most dissapointing, Jazz. It's probably because I mentally overhyped him due to him being kinda hard to find, but to me his legs seem to bulky & his arms barely resemble arms at all...just a couple of panels sitting next ot each other with a couple of black spikes at the end.

I spent a lot of money this weekend and I am not done yet
In the last 3 days I picked up Movie Bumblebee ('74) with no problems
Believe it or not it is the first time I was able to find him. I also picked up Cybertron Longrack at a discount store for only $5.00. Also snagged the Robot Heroes Decepticon Sneak Attack 5-pack. I also found 2 movie posters at Wal-Mart one featuring the Autobots the other the Cons. I got the Autobot poster.
Not to mention I picked up the following comics:
Infiltration TPB
Spotlight TPB
Target 2006 #4
New Avengers/ Transformers #1
Supernatural Origins #3

A very productive trip from Montreal to Ottawa has resulted in my acquiring Classics Soundwave, along with the Blackout & Skorponok 2-pack.
After we struck out at the first (whereupon I took the liberty of phoning ahead to find out one was in stock at the second of 2 possible destnations), my father initially did not want to make the half-hour trip from the St. Laurent TRU to the Merivale TRU, but begging and pleading, along with paying $10 for gas, resulted in capitulation. I gotta get me a driver's license.
I now officially am jealous of every TF fan outside of Quebec. The ability to walk into Toys R Us and see 20th Anniversary Prime, wall statues and 2-packs like the aforementioned is not something you folks should ever take for granted. I want to go back. ;_;

I found and bought the War Within Titanium Optimus Prime and Megatron pack. They're ok. Thirty dollars is pretty decent for both. Don't they normally run around twenty each? I'm glad I didn't jump into this line hardcore though. Depending on how Grimlock looks I'll have these 2, him and possibly Primal Prime. Primal Prime only because he's been one of my favorite iterations of Prime/Primal for a long time.

Well, last Tuesday, I got quite the Transformers haul.
I managed to grab a Titaniums RiD Optimus Prime, The Fallen, Movie Voyager Starscream, & Movie Leader Megatron (yes, I know he isn't that good a figure, & worth the price point, but because I have Movie Leader Prime, it only seemed natural.)
Also, I'm new here, but not new to Transformers.

Well, I just decided to get into collecting Transformers (Bumblebees specifically, although I daresay I'll rack up a few other things over time) after seeing the movie. I got myself the Movie Unleashed Bumblebee just yesterday. Awesome statue, especially considering that I got it 20% off.

Today I got Movie Bonecrusher & movie game Swindle. Bonecrusher is....well....akward. To me he gives off quite a bit of a RID slapper vibe, though I do admit he does stand quite well despite how he looks.
& Swindle....well, considering what he is...I like Swindle. Interesting transformation, interesting design....& to think that if it weren't for me trashing several of these guys I probably wouldn't care much for him (couldn't get over the lens-head, but after seeing that he's just a drone, it's acceptable).

Movie Deluxe Jazz
Movie Deluxe Brawl
Movie Deluxe Barricade to replace my last one whose windsheld got dinged and irritated me - I'll be giving the old one to a friend for 7$ off a loose TRU Reissue Ultra Magnus.
Robot Heroes Mirage & Starscream
Robot Heroes Hot Rod & Shrapnel
I don't want to know how much I have spent on TF in the last week. I know it's a three digit figure that starts with 3.

Movie Monkey Starscream is mine.

In the movie, are Bonecrusher, Blackout, and Brawl the same size as Starscream? I'm asking this because there's only deluxe class figures of the former three whereas Starscream gets the Voyager treatment and Megs has a Leader size figure...

Great haul for me today:
Deluxe '74 Bumblebee: I searched six stores (the only six toy-stocking stores I can feasibly get to). I found this one in the last store I checked, and it was the last one they had. What's more, someone had just chucked it on the shelf like a reject. Combine that with a minor saving, and a great winner for me.
Robot Replica Bumblebee: I found this in the same store as the Deluxe. Since I'm a completionist, I figured I'd buy it. There were a couple of spares. Not too bad, although probably not strictly worth the money I paid for it ($30 Australian)
Red Rooster Bumblebee toy: I love this little guy. A bargain for the tiny bit of money I paid. I was a bit annoyed at the woman serving me, though: she didn't know who Bumblebee was! I thought the women were supposed to be digging this new movie as well?
Classics Bumblebee and Astrotrain 2-pack: Got 30% off on this, so although I wasn't too hot on the Astrotrain, it was still a bargain. Last one they had, too. I had to resist the urge to get a similar 2-pack with Rodimus and Starscream, though - money is still an issue!
Just to top off a great day, on the way home, I passed two VW Beetles.
Yeah, a very good haul. Still yet to open my '74 BB and Classics, though. It's been a long time (well over 5 years) since I last transformed a Transformer, so I'm wanting to set aside the time to do it right. Please excuse me if I shed some nostalgic tears.
With these purchases, my collection is starting to look alright. I don't fancy Astrotrain's chances against 5 Bumblebees, though (6 if you count the Red Rooster one as two, which it technically is)!
Hmm, my collection's gone from one to six. I sextupled my Transformers collection. Or, as I prefer to say it:
I sexed up my Transformers collection!
Unfortunately, this basically puts a halt to my purchases until next month. Still, there is always next month!
Cheers for the welcome. Oh, and don't worry about insanity - I'm about as crazy as they come!

KO gestalts, smallest variety with the limbs roughly in scale to WSTs, Aerialbots with random Minicon, Protectobots, Combaticons and mixed Stunticons/Technobots. I wasn't expecting much from these and the quality does suck. At this size it really drives home the size difference between the torsobots and limbbots. Hell, the torsos are taller than the Kabaya Metroplex I put together last week. I'm taking all of the labels off these, partly because they're annoying and badly applied and partly because a lot of the individual bots are going to be getting some paint anyway.
