Vanguard Productions is proud to present the "Transformers: Vanguard" project.

Transformers: Vanguard is a high-quality fan-series set in an all-new universe that celebrates the entire Transformers multiverse. During Summer/Fall 2014 the prequel series Tales Of The Great War will begin.

Details For the "Vanguard: Tales Of The Great War" Prequel Series (6-12 Minute Long Episodes):
"Follow the adventures of Roadbuster and other heroes on Cybertron during the Great War!"

For the "Vanguard" Main Series (21-24 Minute Long Episodes):
"Watch as the Vanguard Defense Force lead by Ultra Magnus defends Earth and their human allies, teenagers Connor, Jayna, and Alex, from the evil Decepticons lead by Megazarak!

Using CGI, and putting every effort possible in telling a good, professional story that could easily be shown on TV; Vanguard hopes to be the ultimate Transformers fan-series, and YOU can help make that a reality!

The goal for this project at this very moment is to produce at least one prequel episode. I hope to be able to expand that goal to the whole prequel series [6 Episodes totaling 48 Minutes] and the first episode of the main series. If I am able to complete that then this project was a success.

I am committed to making this the best project it can be. Believe me. 2.25 Years of free time and full time has gone into this project. This is it.

When I get some free time I'll also have to see what I can do in terms of recording something-even if it doesn't turn out too well it's worth a shot eh?

Deadline for the 5-Week Auditions is four days away, so if anyone wants to audition for those characters, now's the time.

EDIT: (We had a last second audition that changed the casting of Sideswipe; Justin Segura will be cast as an upcoming Autobot; but not Sideswipe; instead Sideswipe will be voiced by Nicholas Andrew Louie.)

Alright, I've decided to do the casting today.

Impactor, Sideswipe, and Thunderwing were cast today rather easily, however Galvatron & Toxitron took a fair amount of deliberation.

Casting Choices are:
Impactor: Greg F (Name Pending Response)
Sideswipe: Nicholas Andrew Louie
Galvatron: Ben "Bear" Smith
Toxitron: Patrick Dunn
Thunderwing: Levente Tarr
Undecided Autobot: Justin Segura

I also want to announce that due to an audition we have received; I am reducing Shockwave's remaining audition time to one week.

His new deadline is Saturday, July 19th.

I will also be shifting Connor to the 5-Week (Formerly 10-Week) Audition List.

Also: Airazor never received a single audition, which I found surprising to say the least. So audition for her girls; do whatever you think works, doesn't need to be quite what I said.

Thanks to everyone who auditioned for Impactor, Sideswipe, Galvatron, Toxitron, and Thunderwing, it was definitely hard to narrow down the list at some points.

Ooh, looks like I'll have to be quick in getting something together for shockwave then, cheers for the update!
EDIT: Well, auditions for shockers are over now and I couldn't get anything of a passable enough audio quality to even be worth auditioning, so congratulations to crosshairs, I'm sure you'll do the job great man!
If I ever get a half decent mic/etc I may end up auditioning for someone else but time will tell I guess

Another casting day.

Alright, so Shockwave has been cast, but I've also casted Airazor, and have gotten enough auditions that I've decided to move Jayna to the 5-Week Auditions.

Casting Choices are:
Shockwave: Joe Powell (Seibertron's own Crosshairs )
Airazor: Laura Schafer

Shockwave by far got the most auditions; and I want to thank everyone who auditioned for him for doing so. It was hard to narrow down, but in the end, Joe had the best voice for Vanguard Shockwave.

Not many auditioned for Airazor, but Laura really got the exact tone and style of voice that I wanted, so I just had to cast her immediately.

Later today, I'll be putting up the Vanguard Facebook page; so I'll link it here for any of you interested in following the project there.

Thanks for the support and auditions; and I look forward to hearing and getting more in these last four weeks before Windcharger, Slicer, Solara, Connor, and Jayna are cast.

he final Casting Choices!

You guys all made this very hard. The casting decisions; particularly on the female characters was hard, especially because I avoid dual-casting actors when possible. But Laura just nailed the voices in my head very well.

So the female characters cast are:
Jayna Knight: Laura Schafer
Solara: Anita (Username: Pizza)

Now onto the three final male voice choices. So difficult this was made; particularly on Slicer, whom many were able to get into character very well for. But I had to choose one.

Male Choices:

Windcharger: Christopher Colgin (IKY)
Slicer: Joey Martin
