How many of you have been collecting the map pieces that come with your mainline Transformers Earthrise toys? I know I haven't, which is why it was pretty cool to see a complete map in this Earthrise Trhust video review. We have the video below along with a still of the map.

As cool as the finished map is, the pieces from Wave 2 are still misprinted, right? Did later releases of those figures have the correct decodable printing?
Rushing in where Hasbro fears to tread (for now)...

I had been trying to build the map. but some figures never showed up in my area, while one or two figures I wasn't going to get, and trying to just get their packaging proved to be stupid expensive online.

Hey,
a couple questions for anyone who wants to share their insights.
First, how much longer do people expect to see ER in stores?
I never saw wave 2 (or beyond) deluxes... I know there's a chance I missed seeing them, but it's really doubtful--
Until a few weeks ago, I lived .3 miles from a Target that I went into frequently (a lot of times I'd stop by the toys section when the main point of going in was for something completely different).
So "frequently" meaning multiple times a week.
The last figures I saw were the ones I bought (Hoist and Ironworks) on the buy one get one 50% off sale at the beginning of November.
The main reason for the ask is that I would exchange these two for Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker (or possibly an Allicon).
I know distribution has been funky to say the least, but with Kingdom and SS86 now in stores (I scored Scourge and Hot Rod today, and still ZERO ER deluxes or voyagers), is ER distribution pretty much done now?
Next question...
Will it be possible to exchange these 2 ER figures for Deluxes from either SS86 and/or Kingdom?
The whole point is to try and get a couple for $27 instead of $40.
Thanks for any help!!

I wouldn't expect to see any new ER figures in stores, although some might have some surprise stock that was found in back, I generally wouldn't count on it.
Target might let you exchange the 2 figures you have for a couple like price bots from Kingdom or SS.

Just waiting for my last three Earthrise figures to come in (Rung, Trailbreaker, and Optimus Prime) and I'll have all the pieces. Just need to figure out a place to put it, looks like it'll take up a whole poster frame.

I hear ya... Although it's very odd that I never saw any wave 2 or 3 deluxes (or voyagers minus Thrust), seems like the ER ship has sailed. I guess I may just look for Sunstreaker online.
And since that old sale put each deluxe at just over $13, I'm hoping I find SS86 Jazz, and would settle for Kingdom Warpath at that price.

I saw wave 2 briefly. And a single Runabout at Target today. No deluxes from wave 3, no Quintesson, Megatron or Thrust. Fortunately I got what I wanted from Amazon.

You'll need at least a 24" x 36" frame (inner surface area).

Wave 2 and 3 stock went almost as soon as it was in at most stores. If you have any Aldis near you, they recently got a bunch of wave 2 stuff. They might be your best bet.

This won't mean much to collectors outside the midwest U.S., but I got all 4 wave 3 deluxes at Meijer, including Fasttrack and Trailbreaker just yesterday. Never seen them anywhere else, except for maybe 1 Fasttrack at a Target. Only seen the Quintesson in a specialty shop, and never Megatron.
And while I too got 3/4 of Wave 2's deluxes at Aldi's in early December, many of their stores were picked clean long before Christmas.

While I too hope to see some ER in stores, the fact that Kingdom is already upon us is a sign that any remaining stock from the previous line would end up in Market six stores (which we have already seen with Aldi's). And while Target may have changed their policies, they have in the past been accepting of toys being returned in exchange of a similar toy of equal value. So it's worth a shot.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind a print or poster of it. Like, let's say someone cut each piece out real nice and put it all on a black background. But no way could I do something like that, at least not without it looking bad.

Thanks to all who shared some input on my questions...
I know figures have been available online... Outside of wanting to do an exchange and save a bit of $$, I also like being able to see figures in person, especially when I've been on the fence about buying a lot from ER.
While I'm more focused on figures I know I want, I was also trying to avoid the after-market price gouging.
Hopefully being a RedCard user means if I can find Jazz in the next month, I'll be able to do at least one exchange... Wasn't planning on keeping Hoist, but like him way over any modulator.
Fingers crossed a deluxe-for-a-deluxe exchange will go through even through they're not from the same line.

If anyone has an Aldi with any ER deluxes left, it might be worth taking a peek. I was originally going to skip ER Arcee having the T30 version. But I found one in a random bin of leftover Christmas toys ay my Aldi with no indication of a price. I brought it up to the register with my groceries, and for $6.75, I let her come home with me.

Likewise, especially since I’ll never be able to complete one myself. The Vok’s region of space being present on the map has me rather excited for where this series will go.

Seems like there's always been a segment of the fandom that either actively or passively dislikes back matter with their toys, yet Hasbro pretty much invented back matter for toys.

I could have sworn Masters of the Universe predated Transformers...

However, just because hasbro worked hard at the advertising, doesn't mean that fans have to care. We're all different after all with different priorities. To key is to not judge other fans for those preferences.

True MOTU predated Transformers, but not A Real American Hero. And I didn't make a judgement, just a comment even though I do stand on the side of back matter.
