Thinking about it, there are a lot of movie figures in my collection that I don't see getting enough love around here. For example...
2007 Leader Megatron - He seems to be universally hated, but I think the only drawbacks to this mold are that his wings are too large, the jet pieces that fold back on his forearms, and he's too small compared to other leaders. His first blue/pink frozen paint job was attrocious, but the premium color scheme brings out the best in the mold. I also love his mace hand and that his arms can combine like they do in the movie. Granted, his alt mode just looks like a folded up robot.
RotF Leader Megatron - He's far from perfect, but Has/Tak did get him remarkably close to his original CGI design (which you can see on the RotF special edition disc). His main drawback is his enormous and completely unposeable right arm, which, admittedly, is a pretty big darn drawback. But I love all the details in the mold, he's virtually kibble free, and I actually enjoy his relatively simple transformation. If we end up getting a leader Shockwave, I imagine he's going to end up very similar to RotF leader Megs, for better or worse.
RotF Mixmaster - This guy's transformation is as complex as any leader figure's! I love it, though. His bot mode is extremely movie accurate, although given a weird color scheme. This guy seems to be made of a hundred damn parts! Very poseable, too. I have never attempted his cannon mode, so I can't comment on it.
RotF Legends Arcee - I love her because she scales so well with the other movie figures, if you care about that kind of thing like I do. Looks great posed with Sideswipe going after Sideways.
DotM Voyager Ironhide - The best movie representation of Ironhide there is. Much more accurate than the original voyager mold or the leader mold. His bot mode is practically kibble free, unlike the other two aforementioned molds which wear huge truck backpacks. He's also more poseable than the other two molds. I do wish they could've captured the stockiness of this movie design. Thicker thighs would've been nice, especially if they could've put his tires on the back of his thighs instead of his calves.
DotM Deluxe Bumblebee - The only drawback to this figure is the lazy color choices hasbro made to this accurate mold. I love Battle Blades Bee, too, but this one impoves on BB Bee's hunchback posture. Best Bumblebee transformation yet. Efficient and enjoyable.
DotM Dluxe Topspin - OK, he already seems to get a lot of love around here, but I have to add to it. This guy's just about perfect in all areas. He just seems to have something extra.
Regret never picking up RotF Jolt. The more I've looked at him online, though, the more I want him. Seems very poseable, lots of parts, fairly accurate, and overall pretty fun. Looks much better than the DotM mold, which bears very little resemblance to his movie design (what little we saw of it). Better pick him up while I can still find him.
