What do you think would be the next great move for IDW and Hasbro ?
I got the latest Newsletter from IDW and I read that IDW will work more closely with Cartoon Network and when I saw that maybe it isn't so far fetched that after the Prime Beast Hunters Cartoon Series and after the fouth Transformers Movie that maybe IDW will work together with Hasbros Hub, to create a new Transformers TV Series and maybe also got a second Transformers Animated Movie. That would be great. But what do you think about such a vision ?

If they get RiD or MTMTE into cartoon format, I'll watch.
It's not going to happen, due to the amount of characters, sets, convoluted plots and so on, but I'll sit here, for a second, and imagine that reality.
..ok, a little longer.

It's tempting, isn't it?

But really, I think this means we'll get a few more comics set in the Aligned continuity for Prime and any successors. Since IDW handles all the Transformers comics, it's only logical they'd be working with the cartoon developers and distributors.
If I wanted to give IDW a great move... well, I think I'd like to see their Prime comics do one shots on the Predacons, with stories filling in details on their past or giving them their own little adventures to go on, outside of whatever regular roles they have on the cartoon. Give them their moments in the sun, like the IDW Spotlights do.

They are already doing that, to an extent, with Spotlight: Fall of Cybertron and Rage of the Dinobots, aren't they?
I wonder whether they'll also be incorporating the Tales of the Predacons (from the instruction booklets) into comics.

It's actually "Tales of the Beast Hunters," and the two comic series you mentioned focus more on the Dinobots. The Predacons only appear in Rage of the Dinobots.

Ah, yes, I suspected I got that one wrong. Thanks!

As for the comics series, I was thinking more along the lines of Aligned comics, rather than Predacon spotlights. But I appreciate your correction.
Isn't there already an ongoing comics series which mirrors the show, or did I imagine that one?
(Nick Roche did something related, it may have just been the How to Draw Prime style book...

I actually mixed up which part of Henry921's post you were responding to. This was the order of conversation I was under the impression took place.

There's an upcoming "Beast Hunters" comic series. Maybe that's what you're thinking of?

There are two, actually:

However, I was under the impression that Roche had done some work too.
This is all I could find, so I guess it's it: http://www.midtowncomics.com/store/dp.asp?PRID=1178043

The next great move for IDW is probably to prepare for bankruptcy! Oh, and they should tell those sugar babies to find new sugar daddies!
