Since it’ll be a year before we get more classics, I’ve started using some characters as other G1 characters, so I got to wondering what characters do other people use? I’ll be happy to hear what you all think is a good makeshift G1 character, so here’s my list so far

Movie Strongarm - Brawn
Cybertron Redalert - Ratchet
Universe Ratchet - Ironhide
Energon Scorponok - Socrponok

Well I don't have many Transformers that I use to represent G1 characters, but I do have a few.

G2 Terradive - SKywarp
RiD Jetfire - Thundercrakcer

And if I ever manage to get my hands on them:
Energon Downshift - Wheeljack
Cybertron Armourhide - Pipes.

I use G1 Characters as G1 characters. However, I do uses Energon Unicron as Unicron and Cybertron Primus as Primus.

Any homages can be represented as G1 in my collection. Grimlock, Unicron, Swoop .... they were mostly in the Energon line. I'm thinking of getting Cybertron Blurr so I have a G1 Blurr representation, actually...

I don't use modern toys as G1 characters. G1 is G1, Classics is Classics, and so on.

Do you have Tit Fallen? There’s no toy for the character outside of that one, if you’re a big G1 fan you might want to pick him up.

Well sooooo sorry, I like G1 but don’t have any of the toys except for Sideswipe, I do have a ton of figures spanning through early beast wars to the movie, so I was just wondering what figures from my collection I could use as G1 characters with good articulation until more classics come out. G1 is G1 but you can open up a bit to other things.

Silver Galvatron as Megatron. The name has a ring 2 it. Not 2 mention shorter to pronounce. Cybertron Soundwave as Soundwave. Energon Shockblast as Shockwave. TakaraGF SS as SS...etc. G1 still lingers, so all the updated figures from Energon and Cybertron dat i bought are all my G1 representatives, so2speak. My collection is mini compared to most, so i tend to be picky.

G1 still rocks dat hard.
