That's my thoughts. Barricade turned tail and took off to fight another day.

When they were throwing Megatron in the ocean, can't we see a part of Barricade with all the debris? Supposely he fought Optimus Prime after Bonecrusher which is why Optimus Prime was late to fight Megatron.

i am thinking he fought hard but died quick against prime along with bonecrusher and they simply cut the scene.

if they were that pressed on time i think they should have cut that whole little plot of "decoding the signal" or whatever instead of the barricade fight.

i am really hoping for an extended edition dvd or something. that would be nice.

Heres Hoping if he didn't die Barricade could be in the next movie.

Frankly I hope we see him in the next movie, as it keeps the ending from being a "clean sweep" so much.

If he's not though, I'm simply going to assume that he came upon Jazz after Megs discarded him and Jazz had enough heroic resistance left in him to utterly destroy barricade before dying.

22 years ago, Cyclonus's armada disappeared in the original animated movie. 22 years later, Barricade disappears. They probably got together and are smoking weed or something like that.

I'd love to see more of Barricade. I too didn't see him on the carrier being dropped into the ocean, but I could be wrong.

One question...since Sector 7's been abolished...why didn't they go after the Autobots as well? I mean, let's face it...humanity doesn't have a good head on it's collective shoulders.

Ironhide tackled him pretty hard in the battle scene, causing some of his wheels to fly off... I guess that was supposed to imply that he finished barricade off, since barricade is a comparatively-weak character to begin with...

Yeah, it's a weak argument, but I don't see how you can go from Ironhide having Barricade pinned and damaged, to Barricade getting away scot free...

Didn't stay for the credits, huh? They show Starscream booking it out of Earth's atmosphere. My money is that if anyone's getting reinforcements, it's him.

Hmm I'm surprised no one has seen this yet...Barricade actually dies in the movie. After seeing it a couple times, Ironhide kills Barricade.

Here is when it happens:

*Scene after Brawl gets back up*
Ironhide: "Sam, get to the building"
Brawl: "Decepticons, Attack!!!"
*Ironhide and Ratchet are falling back with Sam providing covering fire.*
Ironhide: "Sam watch out!!!"
At this moment you will notice Barricade is in Vehicle Mode, and that is Ironhide picks him up, throws him against the wall and Barricade changes to Robot Mode. Then Ironhide jumps and pummels Barricade to the ground. You will see Barricade's wheel fly past the screen, debris from the fight.
*Blackout (Vortex) then transforms to Vehicle Mode to try and snag Sam*

Its very tough to tell that Barricade is getting taken out there, because Ironhide and him are the same color. So it just looks like one big transformer blob. Easiest way to tell if you can see Barricades Red Eyes as he is thrown to the wall.

It is actually a Mercedes.

On the parkway back from the Hoover Dam.Optimus Prime rips Bonecrusher in half and then throws Barricade on the EZ Pass Bridge.

Well, first time poster, looooooooooooooooooong time TF fan, and can honestly say I've waited for this movie since I was 5 years old!

So with Barricade still MIA, I think the question is how will they tie the remaining Con's back in the sequel?

My predictions:

Barricade: I'm assuming he was damaged, and is in a junkyard trying to heel somewheres, or he's going to be what ties the decepticons into the sequel. Maybe he along with the couple of new TF's (Mountain Dew bot, X-Box bot, Escalade) will be constantly stirring up trouble, but retreating before the autobots can squash them. The new cons will look up to Barricade as the last con to be in direct contact with Megs, or something along those lines.

Starscream: Either one of 2 things; 1. He's going to comeback with reinforcements (Thundercracker, Skywarp) and the Constructicons (as I heard they along with the Dinobots were confirmed for the TFM2). Only thing against this theory is the rename from BRAWL to Devastator. Theory 2: He'll go back to Cybertron, trying to convince the remaining Cons that Megs died and gave him leadership, which will lead to Soundwave or Shockwave not believing him and heading to earth to find Megs.

Skorponok: Badly damaged, see Barricade above.

Frenzy: He's dead, no doubts

I agree fully! I think that it would have been better not to show him checking in as it closes the loop which also means that Bumblebee finished him off! Bumblebee has got to be the coolest Autobot in the movie! What a change from the G1 little guy!

In one of the children's book adaptations, Optimus takes out Bonecrusher AND Barricade at the same time, instead of just Bonecrusher.

The book is the one with the Pop-up style book sliders that cause the transformers to... uumm... transform.

I'm sure there are several fight scenes and action sequences that got cut out due to time restrictions. I hope we get to see more dialoque between Starscream and Megatron and just more scenes giving transformers (not Optimus, BumbleBee or Frenzy) more importance in the film on the DVD. We barely meet Jazz and then he is dead. I mean this is a guy who survived through all three seasons of the animated show. If Starscream wanted to take over from Megatron who would have ever suspected from his lack of lines. I loved the movie, I just hope the next one gives us transformers with personalities and SPEAKING PARTS!!!!!!!!!!

That would probably be saved for the cut scenes section or an extended version for the DVD.

If you watch is closely, Barricade gets owned by Ironhide. He is either dead or badly damaged from the fight, cause after that you never see him again. I would post a pic, but I'm sure it will get taken down.

where does this happen exactly? if you mean the bit in mission city where ironhide picks up a car, that's not barricade. It's a random mercedes. If you don't believe me i can post a screenshot of it.
