I wanna kitbash me a Zombie Femcon...

Can anyone suggest a good transforming base model to start with?

The more G1-ish the better and id prefer to try and avoid the motorbike Arcee if i can, but I know there arent many available so im willing to consider any feminine TF model, even if they werent designed to look female.

Any suggestions (along with where they might be found) would be greatly appreciated!

E-Bay is probably your best bet for a lot of them.

Off the top of my head,

G2 Nightracer (one of the Go-bots) was recoloured as one of the RID Spychangers, but probably isn't a good figure for Kitbashing. That's about the only G1-esque femcon/bot I can think of.

Others are
BW Airazor (Transmetal more so) (also an Armada release)
BW Black Arachnia (none-transmetal Taratulas repaint)
BM Strika/Universe Nemesis Strike
Cybertron Override/Override GTS (possibly still warming shelves in some places)
Cybertron Thunderblast (E-Bay or online stores)

Would this be for a certain cheerleader?

You're welcome. tfu.info has a nice list, but alot of them are minicons, often Japanese exclusives.

Another that's springing to mind is the Minerva/Nightbeat mold, but good luck finding one to kitbash.

Originally Ii was plannin on using G1 Scourge and modifying certain 'parts', but he's not easy to get hold of. C: Thunderblast may do the job, but im not that keen on the 'shellformer' aspect of it. Descisions, decisions...

True, she's a bit of a shellformer, but she's probably the most clearly feminine figure that's (comparitively) easy to obtain. (The other big problem, her head, i think you've already taken care of). Plus, how can you say 'no' to that gun?

She does pack a hell of a weapon dont she?

her obtainability is certainly putting her at the current top of the list, and she is modifiable to fit with the picture I have for her as im too lazy to update it.

Engine units aside, I think she'd be a good fit based on that pic. Though last time I saw her, her alt-mode was the rabbit.

I did try to get hold of a cheap stampy rabbit, but seller crapped out on me at the last minute, id won the bidding and everything! :-x

She was the G1 scourge hovercraft which is what the pic is based on, until the rabbit alt was released in the prizes after xmas.

I have Nightbeat, it would be very easy to paint but as minerva has been done already ill keep that as a reserve plan. Its a nice idea tho.

Ti Scourge apparently has die cast in his torso and legs, plus the head could be problematic.

This is going to be far more complicated than I originally imaginged, isnt it? Need to find more 'androdgenous' transformers that wont cost the earth to get hold of.

Unless Thunderblast wants to stop showing up as a minicon on eBay every time I look dammit!

There's always the Cyber Fembots if your willing to use a model kit. I'm not sure if anyone mentioned Override or the RID Sideburn mould yet, but both of those make for good female moulds.

If the character is a cross between Arcee and Scourge that is the base fig I would use.

Maybe a Thunderblast/TIT scourge combo. Remove the boat shell and attach scourge wings to Thunderblast figure. I'm sure with some creative modding you could get it to work...
