Dinobots are a bad idea

Postby Mattamus Prime » Wed Oct 24, 2007 11:47 am

They'd have to come up with some crazy way to introduce the dinobots to make it cool, and believable. I think it's dangerous ground. They risk losing their followers if they make this thing cheesy going forward. Being metal and mapping themselves to metalic objects of simlare size makes more sence that mapping some animal like a lion or a Rhino.

Stick with the technolgy and away from the animals in my opionion.

Plus... to make this saga "good"... they have to concentrate on a little character development with some of these robot characters. They have to intoduce a lot of new guys I agree... but they have to also consider the more they introduce, the less time they will have to spend on developing characters we already have. Like Starscream and his hatered for Megatron (you know he got a couple shots off on Megatron before he went down). They risk getting to complicated and smushing all this in at once. I hope they don't try cram it all in there and take away the integrity of the first movie. Yet... if they make it two to three hours instead of 2:10.. hey... throw a bunch in there. As long as by the third movie there is a big HUGE TF climatic battle

If they follow the G1 cartoon up until and possibly overlapping the animated movie, minus the animals... i think we'll have ourselves one bad ass trilogy. Unlike Lucas and his newest three F***-Ups.

Thank you TF's the movie for not wrecking it! You actually pulled it off by bouncing ideas off real G1 fans. Thanks for not being a "Lucas!"

Actually.... I think there's evidecne against Starscream

Postby Mattamus Prime » Wed Oct 24, 2007 12:25 pm

When he was wreckin' **** in the F-22 battle he transformed back to plane mode, he was second in formation.

The next scene you see two jets fly directly towards Megatron. Both of which get missles off on Megatron. this tells me he "most likely" did.

This leaves me to beleive there is more evidence against Starscream. Sure they didn't get into their relationship much... but I HOPE that the writers make it so that Starscream shot at Megatron. I wathed the movie 10 times now and each time it looks like he shoots him. the Jets lost him after he transformers back into jet mode. Who's to say he didn't even lead the attack???

What a perfect way to create an inner struggle between the decepticons while they are leaderless. Like Megatron knew the difference... he had like four F-22 shooting at him at the same time everybody else was. Plus... the prequel comic touches on Starcream being pretty shady. I think it's agood lead in. How suprising he's like the only one who got away at the end too. Your boy's shady!!! Starscream will fall at the hands of Megatron for his deception before it's all over.

After these four, they can add Wheelie for all I care....

No, I'm kidding. Under no circumstances is Wheelie ever a good choice.

It looks like Screamers may have been one of the Raptors shooting missiles at Megs, but I'll need to watch again to make sure.
