bugs, it's not so much a fear, as much as a need to kill them, i'll chase them all around my apartment with a fly swatter if they get in.
otherwise, I get anxiety attacks if i'm tightly packed with alot of other people, don't like people standing too close to me, don't like touching other people, or other people's used chewing gum

I'm afraid of hillbillies chasing me in a pickup truck with a spotlight through a giant field. Oddly enough that sort of thing never phased me until it happened.
Oh also. Another vote for chalk and Popsicle sticks. Also cotton. Every time I think of those things I get a grainy taste in my mouth and have to suck on my teeth.

A more current one isn't so much a phobia as just a sense of discomfort. I will forever hate the movie "Toy Story" because now I can't stop thinking my toys are watching me, even when I change.
Then you wouldn't like my house...
I seem to have hit on a common problem. And I'm sure your house is scary, but then again, I've got TFs clamoring for shelf space in one room, dolls in another, Football memorabilia in a third room, and more figurines int he living room. Oddly, only my toys bug me.

Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

Deliverance?
I don't have any huge phobias. Just a need to kill any spiders whose overall size becomes about the size of a quarter.

Bad prank from the local rednecks at your school?

I'll leave it at the fact that me and a few buddies were out having fun, pissed off about half a dozen people and we ended up running through fields, backyards and jumping the occasional 8 foot wide drainage ditch to get away.

needles. a fairly common one, perhaps, but mine is rather intense. when i go to the doctor and i have to get a shot, they actually have to call in extra people to help hold my arm down when the time comes. i believe the current record is four people holding my arm, and that's not counting the nurse giving the shot. i know they never hurt much, a fact which the nurse invariably assures me of while she's prepping the needle, but i just can't get past the thought of a piece of cold metal sliding under my skin. ugh, i feel that same sense of apprehension even discussing it.
also, not so much anymore, but when i was a kid i was petrified of bees, to the point that it could take me close to half an hour to make my way across a small yard if i saw bees flying around. i know exactly how it started too: when i was about six years old, i had a bee land on my eye, and i was absolutely terrified that if i so much as blinked it would sting and i would lose an eye. it probably only lasted a couple of seconds, but it felt like an eternity. i think that kind of experience would make pretty much any kid afraid of bees.

Mankind advancing technology so fast and recklessly that it evolves to a point where it will come alive and destroy humanity.
So the Terminator movies scared me in a different way...

When the Toy Story toys came out my dad got me one of those talking Buzz Lightyears' and it was cool until it started talking on it's own and the same thing happened to my sister's Woody doll. Buzz is somewhere in my closet and Woody's whereabouts are unknown

Mild Clausterphobia in general. But mostly I hate being touched by unfamiliar people. As far as I'm concerned it's an act of aggression...the last guy that put his hands on me in a bar ended up with a sprained wrist and a night in jail. Thank goodness security saw the whole thing, otherwise I may have been up on assault charges.
I told the fire to go **** itself, and it did.

When I was a baby, I used to be terrified of Thunder and Lightening. Even after I learnt what they were, they still scared me. Got over that now.
But bees and wasps still scare the bajeebus out of me. If a footie goes into a bush with some in, I bluntly refuse to go after it. And if I do, my friends take great mirth in my attempts to get in and get out as quick as I can. Strangely though, Waspinator is one of my favourite BW guys.
And not to scare anyone, but the Terminator scenario is only a matter of time. Might be our children or their children who have to face it, but if the pursuit of ever increasing AI continues at the pace it is, Skynet will become a reality.
It's already watching us.

Zombies make for a pretty weird phobia, though. I sympathize with you. After watching Dawn of the Dead, I get a little nervous every time someone mentions Zombies.
Oh, and here's another one: Freddy Krueger. Honestly. I have trouble getting to sleep at night because of Freddy vs. Jason.

Appart from china dolls, when i was about 3 or 4 I got a spiderweb with the spider still on it tuck on my face. Every spider I've met since then the size of a penny or larger has payed the ultimate penalty for that moment of horror.
The Terminator scenario: I'd like to say that if you let an AI get that intelligent then it's your own damn fault when it realises it's better than you. But I know somewhere out there there is someone who will do it "for science" (i.e. because they can & nobody who matters said otherwise).

I was about to say, "I understand," but then you said it was because of Freddy Vs. Jason.
Is Dawn of the Dead frightening?
No, not really. It's actually more like an action flick with Zombies.
But there was this little extra feature on the DVD, featuring a news report by some anchorman. The ending, where he sadly walked off to face the zombies after telling his wife and kids he'd be "Home" soon, was the kind of thing that made you think "What if?"
I can't even perfect a match in Halo 2! How am I supposed to make a good Zombie Plan?!

How do you feel about handshakes? Some people are literally bothered by even that.
And what about the cute chick you just met who touches your arm when she laughs?
