Just curious...what is your favorite Final Fantasy.
Mine are VIII, X, and X-2

And let me guess....VII is gonna be the most common answer!

The original. It's in need of an upgrade better then the Wonderswan version (Which was ported to GBA), and it's getting one on PSP soon.

So, you know, I'm probably going to update the sprites on my comic in the future somewhere.

1. Final Fantasy VII
2. Final Fantasy VIII
3. Final Fantasy I
4. Final Fantasy IV (Final Fantasy II on the SNES)
5. Final Fantasy II

I have not played III, IX, X, XI, and XII.

My favorites are VI, IX(probably the most under rated FF game) and VII. My least favorite is VII, I don't know why but I just don't like it.

since its the only one I beat I'm going with FFXII from What i hear its one of few that doesn't have a incessent love story and it doesn't follow alot of the RPG story beats.

FF I (no matter how great the newer ones are, this will always be my favorite)

FF IV, FF VI, and FFVII are all tied for close 2nds.

HOmer Jay your sig is halarious just needs some type of animation and subtitles like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. But oone thing I forgot to mention is that Fran is hot another reason why FFXII is my favorite.

None of them to be honest. There are far better RPG games out there. If I were forced to pick one though I'd say 8 or 10. Only because those were the only ones I played the demo for and wasn't asking "why the **** am I playing this"?

Like with some people here, I loved the First FF, no remake for it, no **** like that, im talkin the old NES version with the spell point system, and the somewhat hard difficulty, screw MP in the new ones, give me a game where if i abuse magic, I get f**ked in the end, and if I had to pick a second, I dunno, I guess IX or III

I also liked Dirge of Cerberus. It's cool to play a video game while watching a movie. Seriously though, I enjoyed DoC.

Final Fantasy 8. Top of the line in my mind. XII is ok, now that I'm used to the battle system and gambits kinda, but right now I'm running around this mining town screaming "I'm the real Bosch!" and it sucks. I get like 25% recognition and then I yell it somewhere where some jerk tells me I'm disturbing the peace or something, and I go back to 0%. Lame.

I have not played a single Final Fantasy game. They should come out with a FF Collection so I can play them all on my Wii or 360. They've come out with other game franchise collections(Sonic, Metal Slug, and Megaman just to name a few) so why not a Final Fantasy collection?

After doing a little research, I see FF VII, the one that seems to be the most popular, is for the original Playstation, which I have. Maybe I'll look for a copy next time I'm in EB or something.

I got a bitter taste in my mouth after #7, especially the over-enthusiastic 1337-speaking FF7 fanboys.....you know what I'm talking about. :-P

I prefer Dragon Quest myself. :wink:

Replace 4 with 6 and Dragon Quest with Anything else, you have my opinion.
