will they ever complete the original 11 cars? i think i could have done without the dinobot and cheetor. smokescreen is nice but why not trailbreaker and wheeljack. they killed alternators before trailbreaker and ironhide. any rumors or word if they will do these 2 or are they going to blank the series with 2 missing again?

No word yet on these guys in Classics/TFU. For now I've got Energon Downshift standing in for Wheeljack. After I got the Premium Movie Ironhide I added the Reprolabel Trailbreaker set to the original and he's standing in as well. I also have the G1 deco Move Jazz standing in as a classics Jazz.

Yeah, I have to settle for Animated Jazz... and the movie line fits better with the classics than the Animated line. >.<

the universe and animated lines don't go together very well at all. it sucks since they are both good looking lines, but they just don't match very well side by side.

I don't think I'd get a classics Wheeljack ... my Energon Wheeljack woks well as his modern equivalant. I'm not so picky which lines a TF comes from. Although I can't think of one that might do for Trailbreaker..

There's an Alternator perfect for him - Optimus Prime. However, this would put him at that weird Alternator scale of "Slightly bigger than Voyagers but not as big as Ultras"...

I always figured that the Cybertron Red Alert mold would make a decent Trailbreaker repaint, he's got the gun hand and visor already. As for Wheeljack, I'm happy enough with Downshift for now.

Meh, TB and Hoist deserve a Classics mold of their own, and I personally am quite confident that we will see those in 2010.

And most likely I'd pick that up in a heartbeat...

I really think we'll end up seeing Wheeljack and Jazz...
And I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Hoist and Trailbreaker.

I really really think that the Universe Classics Line will be back after ROTF... Unfortunately for people like me, it can't happen soon enough.
Even if we only get 2-4 more waves, there's no reason it shouldn't come back--
1. Hasbro should be doing well financially after RoTF
(even if the movie doesn't do quite as well as the first)
2. There are plenty of characters left to make new molds for!

I have the same.
I have Animated Blurr with them (IMHO he fits in pretty well with the classics) and animated Jazz (Jazz is not that bad with the classics, a better fit than some TFA's).

I would love to see a remolded Trailbreaker and Hoist though.

I'm not too hopeful about Trailbreaker, since Hasbro has lost the trademark (anyone saying "copyright" will get a taste from my hammer) quite a few years ago, since Cybertron at least as that was Overhaul's intended name! They haven't made an effort on getting it back, so... yeah.

Wheeljack is in Animated, I wonder how he will turn out.

They should have called Movie Longarm Hoist from the very start. At least that's what I do. As for Trailbreaker, that's Off Road Ironhide. Why? Ironhide is black, like G1 Trailbreaker. Off Road Ironhide is blue, like Diaclone Trailbreaker
