My birthday is coming up and I want to get either the 1/48 VF-1S Roy Focker Valkyrie or the 1/5000 Scale Macross Super Dimension Fortress Transforming Model (SDF-1) I was wondering about anyone's opinions/recommendations? Anyone own the Roy Fokker Valkyrie? Both are up for preoder at BBTS.

I don't own either. I do have the 1/48 max, and from that i highly recommend the 1/48's. The 1/5000 model doesn't really look that appealing to me from the images at bbts.
