Since I've never seen either out of the package, right now I have to go mainlky on the pics I have seen before. Honestly, they both look awesome and really, we're pretty darn lucky that we even have 2 figures that are both so cool.
The Universe Starscream is a normally priced wide release, right? If so, I might opt for him first because he's probably cheaper. Something tells me I might end up with both eventually.
A really bad thought came into my head, since this Universe Starscream looks like it is trying to be "cartoon accurate", especially with the nosecone, I hope Habro doesn't get the bright idea of doing a say..."Cartoon Accurate Thundercracker"
That would make these boards an absolute mess and keep the mods very busy.

It does look good, if they release that, they have too relase Thundercracker and Skywarp as European exclusives! But that will never happen.

Seconded. And one day, even if I have to learn how to paint and to a custom job, I will have my Thunderlilac and Tealwarp. It'd be nicer if Hasbro decided to do it for me though :3

Henkei all the way for me.
Apart from the fact I've already got him, he fits in perfectly with my new Henkei Skywarp and Thundercracker and I prefer the added detail on the feet and such.

i dont care if i have the first classics starscream i want the universe one cus it looks cooler more g1 accurate. but i still want to keep my classics scream cus he was the first i all ways keep the first of every thing i get.

It's really unfair to say one is better than the other for now. We all know how Hasbro's pictures have been more deceptive than usual lately. So until I have one in hand I'm going to reserve judgment.
Having said that, Henkei Screamer is very nice. Mine has great paint apps and looks tight all around. I swapped out the missile launchers with the original Classics one since I'm not a huge fan of the chrome, and he looks great like that. I don't think you or any Starscream fan to be at all disappointed with purchasing him.

I have the three henkei versions of the seekers coming in now, and I hope they all look uniform.
I don't care one way or the next about the chrome, what gets me is the fact the launchers are about 20% too big. They bang into the wings. The proportions on the MP seekers are much better.
I made new ones for my classics seekers. Now I'm gonna try and make casts of those with all the new seekers coming in.
