What if you like a transformation, but the colour scheme made you not buy it?

Good question but I'm not sure that would happen - I'd paint it. I paint most of them, from simply replacing the cheap looking grey with silver to adding extensive detailing.

I was directly inspired by this thread, so thanks Woosh for starting it.

Energon Ravage is one of my all time favorite figures, ever. I don't know why, I just like it. But aside from the Japanese exclusive
there were only 2 versions of him released in the U.S.. Bummer.
Well, I happened to have an extra body I had lying around from a lot I won on ebay, and I picked up a Command Ravage at Dairycon for a buck, so I made a new version of him. I am not an expert at repainting but he turned out nice, I think.

I really just wanted an excuse to use the Krylon X-metals paint.
That stuff is a lot of fun.
