Are the circled pieces in the picture below used to form Defensor, or are they just for the individual bots?

Excellent, thanks.
Can they even be used on him, if I wanted to? Doesn't look like they would fit to well in his hands..

Ah really. Nice. I can't find a picture of that.
Just trying to figure oout if I should fork otu the extra cash for thoes two guns or not. I only plan on displaying in gestalt mode, don't care about individual figure completness!

Hoses for Hot Spot's battlestation mode, IIRC.

For anyone who hasn't seen Spotlight: Sledge (and why not?!), my gritty and dark fanfiction piece "Holiday" is posted here.

Pretty much all the (5 piece) combiner leaders had that "third mode".
Except Scattershot ... we don't talk about his unofficial third mode.

Unless you're talking about Hun-Grrr, leader of the Terrorcons; he has two official modes, and a third "base" mode featured in the TF: Generations book.

In alt mode, pull Hot Spot's legs out, attach the chest pieces to the side - another mode maybe. I saw a pic before and tried it on mine. it was fun.

That would be his car carrier mode. Don't forget the guns on his sides where his hoses are
