Who is the best prime of all time
I thought I would ask the question which version of prime is the best of them all? I really couldn't say myself because I like bits and piece of all the diffrent primes that have come over the years.

Well, I guess I would have to list them this way:
1. Masterpiece Prime
2. Cybertron Prime
3. Armada Prime
4. Classic Prime
5. Beast Wars Primal (I know, he wasn't Prime, but whatever)
6. Alternator Prime
7. RID Prime
As for worst Prime, it's still gotta be Fatimus from Energon.

I have to say The Classics Versus Pack Prime in Robot Mode is one if the best Primes I've seen in a while considering its size. Sadly the vehicle mode almost breaks the toy.
However, The Classics Voyager Prime mold is very well done Lots of Poseability and articulation. Both Modes are well designed in that they don't take anything away from each other.
So My list thus far has to be:
20th Anniv Prime
(if I may I'd add Primal Prime or Optimal Optimus)
RID Prime
Classics Voyager Prime
Deluxe Versus pack Prime (only for its Robot mode).
Cybertron Prime
...(The rest of the Primes)

From past experience, and from the posts already in this thread, I have a feeling the answer will be MP / 20th Prime.
(ps that's my vote too)

My favourite prime toy is Cybertron Optimus Prime. He's got a really cool robot look, that I like better than the original. He also has lots of neat playability with the trailer and all.
20th is cool, but I like the design of Cybertron Prime better...

Well aside from the obvious MP prime vote (which by the way I vote for MP-04 because he has the awesome trailer.) I think Cybertron Prime is really the best toy line Prime due to the multiple combinations. Also he has the godmode ears... nice!

Masterpiece is amazing. Alternators is cool. G1 is classic. RiD (no armor) actually got me back into Transformers. Black Battle Convoy (the Car Robots one had pink eyes & sword) was the most original idea since Beast Wars began But my hands down favorite is Machine Wars Optimus. Immobile but detailed Classic yet fresh and the coolest and most useful trailer I've ever owned and I own them all.

I could get on board w/ mp prime if he were voyager size but f a giantus prime that could step on metrplex. If they redid powermaster prime with todays technology i.e. classics voyager type prime for a cab that would be the ulimate. Untill then none of em suck that hard sept 4 fat bastard. I realy dig that RID Prime good on its own and merged with RID Magnus forget about it that bot is the #1 stunner wha wha wha what.
Hold up now I guess he could step on metroplex too. Oh well srew it I'm going straight politician and waffling on this one. You see I voted for it before I voted aginst it...er whatever dude. TX

RiD Prime.
Articulation, detail, features, size, non-intrusive power-up ability, combination ability.
There is NOTHING RiD Prime can't do.

I was thinking of all the G1 Optimus Re-issues which is the best? I have the Hasbro one and of course my childhood version which I now refer to as battle damage Prime, due to playing with him as a kid, but I've been considering getting a Takara re-issue. Is it worth putting down $250-$350 (I've even seen him as high as $600) for the Takara white book package version or spend less than $150 and get either the New Years Optimus Prime or the Takara reissue in the "classic" packaging. The only difference I can tell is that New Years Optimus comes with a bonus PVC Prime and an Autobot mouse pad but if anyone knows a little more about the different versions or if one is better than the other is some way, I'd appreciate the opinion.

I like some others can't decide on my favorite Prime. No matter how I look at it I can only narrow it down to my top three Primes based on playability, coolness factor, design and asthetics.
(In no particular order)
God Ginrai - The coolest G1 Prime!
RID Prime - Prime as the most realistic fire truck ever!
Cybertron Prime - A wonderful asthetics combo of different Primes over the years.

I'm happy with my original (not-DVD) 20th Prime.
Aside, from him, QF Supreme T:
RID was the best "main-line" Prime. Period. Sorry, Cybertron, but the whole "Robots-in-Disguise" thing only works if you actually **look** like a fire truck.
Classics Prime would be number three. Articulation, Articulation, Articulation FTW.
G1 would be fourth. Loved the trailer, but hated losing the hands. Ah, well.
Bendy Armada/Cybertron would be fifth. He's the basics of what a typical TF should be: reasonably articulated, and decent-looking in both modes.

Wow this has been a real education when I asked this question. I figured it would be g1 prime hands down. But it seems to be a toss up between rid prime, cybertron prime, mp prime and the most hated prime apears to energon prime.

How could anyone love Fatimus Prime? Don't get me wrong I realize there is someone out there that thinks E. Prime is cool. But I'm not suprised he's the most dispised.

Well mine does.
The car journy was cuase something was leaning on his button, I have NO idea what cuased him to randomly talk at 2am when I was the only person in the room, but it was DAMN spooky, lol.
