Which ones? I didn’t think they were too bulky, could you give us an example?

Bulk makes for goood transformers.
I always preferred bots that looked beefy as opposed to spindly.

Supreme Starscream was pretty bulky, but I didn’t have a problem with it, Scourge isn’t to fat, but I do agree Prime was pretty bulky, I kind of like it though, looks like he could pack a punch you know?

Sound and Cybertron Key gimmicks.
Some parts have to be bulky to accomodate them. A figure like Vector Prime would have been amazing if it wasn't for his sound and key gimmicks.

Bulk is a good thing if the proportions are right. Makes for mean looking bots and sturdy toys. I worry about the spindly limbs of the upcoming animated toys.

Watch the cartoon, it's just how they were drawn. The toys are pretty much all a perfect replica of how they were designed for the show.

Being show-accurate won't stop them from being fragile.

For anyone who hasn't seen Spotlight: Sledge (and why not?!), my gritty and dark fanfiction piece "Holiday" is posted here.

The toys come first. The cartoons are modeled after the toys. It's been that way for awhile now.

Hmm, does this mean that the movie toys came before the CGI versions were created? If so, pretty cool!

no, in that case the movie models came first, then the toys. Thats why the toys aren't all movie accurate, because what the movie models accomplished would be virtually impossible for the toys to replicate without having hundreds of tiny parts.AlienQuiksilver wrote:Professor Smooth wrote:AlienQuiksilver wrote:Watch the cartoon, it's just how they were drawn. If you think Cybertron figures are bulky, check out the Armada line. The Cyb figures are almost all greatly articulated.
Some of the Armada TFs are about as posable as a door-stop and could easily be used as one!
