I can't believe we have yet another topic on this though. I can't remember if this is the fifth or sixth one I've seen or possibly even more. I will forgo my usual bit about SCF Skywarp as I've said it enough times already.

You do know you're not supposed to open exclusive sets, don't you? If you're gonna open them don't be too concerned about their value.

Considering the Botcon sets are not sealed, I don't think it matters.

Be fu**ing glad that you got classics in the first place, the line wasn't even released in my country.
And I still managed to grab a few, YEs it would be awesome if they were on general sale, but that will not happen, Takara may release there own versions, but I don't think so since they haven't even brought out wave one of the classics line jet, just a few.
Just let it go.
I don't ahve the 07 set, but I want it, meaning that one day I will own it, I just have to save my money- for a long time.

QFT! This is all that needs to be said. Botcon EXCLUSIVES should live up to their name and forever be rare and sought after sets.

If Hasbro or Takara, suddenly released a 'botcon' line at retail with all the exclusives offered up at face value, I wouldnt care that I had my sets years ago. I would be annoyed that they are commonplace.

The rarity of the botcon exclusives is what makes them special, elitist or not, save a little money and you too can have botcon seekers.

LOL! I find it absolutely hilarious that someone actually had the gall to try and argue with Counterpunch. I've seen better outcomes for the arguer during the rapes scenes in Oz.

Idk why people get so upset about these things. People they're just pieces of plastic! They're ok molds with a few changes added to them. It's not gonna kill you if you don't have them. I know it's lame that they were exclusives but what do u want them to do? Release a lame mold that won't sell? No they want something that sells. Imao i would rather have new molds then have half a wave of universe be nothing but stupid seekers. Get over it! And if you want them so badly then as counter punch said u pay to play pony up the dough and buy them yourself. Just because people have nicer things dosen't mean you should hate them (cough, Sylus, cough) Just be happy for them. Just work hard and save the cash don't bitch and complain and make thousands of what if forums! Just get over it!

I don't hate any asshole just cuz he has something I don't, deal with it. I hate people who sit there and lord over everyone else that they bought the botcon exclusives and that they want them to stay valuable because they want to sale them on eBay for 5 times what they paid. I can afford them all, I may not have a job but that doesn't mean I don't work my ass off for cash. Last check I got was $2,500 and how much of that do I have left? $2,500 that's how much, I'm just not willing to spend it on 3 toys that are worth $10 and not a cent more just because some bastard wants to get them all greasy with his stubby fingers and then sale them on eBay for 800% mark up on each one. I prefer to manage my money not blow it all on toys, If I sale so much stuff on eBay that I make enough for a botcon set then I'll buy the botcon set, but I'm not gonna spend my money I EARNED on toys. Not when my mom is suffering from diabetes, lack of medication and lack of food because all her money is going towards credit card debt that my dad accumulated on some whore he met in prison. Even if I had the botcon set when it FIRST came out I'd still be pissed that it wasn't something that was readily available to EVERYONE at a fair price, things like that upset the hell out of me. It pisses me off that I can pick up a transformer at wal mart for about 20 bucks but my friends in England pay 20 quid for it which almost 40 USD.
I believe the prices should be of what the toy is worth, not what the person can afford and to me 3 hunks of plastic are not worth almost $1,000. Well, if Takara releases the BotCon seekers, I will buy them. If they dont, I will never own them. So I hope they do and since I dont own the BotCon set, I dont care if they stay exclusives or not. If I did, I probably would care if takara released them. Humans tend to act and react in their own best interest.
