Takara tried again to produce a Unicron toy, only going as far as the resin stage. It was said to be around the size of Optimus Primal, and had several gimmicks, such as a laughing face when the horns were squeezed, and a claw and a drill that were stored in the planet "shell" in robot mode. One hardcopy was shown at the Tokyo Toy Fair.
But witch Optimus Primal? The one from the RID toy line is hudge. Also most TF molds in their resin stage are not in the size that they will be when their mass produced .And look at the photo again and look at the hands.....looks to me like he had movable fingers......mostly only the large figures have movable fingers. An from what I've read they desided not to make him because the thought making such a large figure for a toy line that had reached its end would be bad buessnes. The show was coming to an end at the time.

if I had to guess it would be the vanilla flavored Primal, all the others have a name, like Transmetal, Air Attack and so on. Still that don't mean its true, he could be huge after all it's a wiki. I hope he was small it makes the pain of its non-existence more bearable!
