Would like the set without the lion for around $80 better. $109 isnt out of reach, but plenty of time coming in October, no hurry to preorder.

POV, Too obsecure, Cheap looking ugly 3rd party designed toys, too small, barely got any persona in fiction. too puny in power, height and strength in the fiction. Low command ranking.

I quite agree.

I'm a big Voltron fan too, but this lion-to-gun holds no allure for me.

Unless it does something (anything) else, it will be another dustable for some random shelf.

I'd rather save the two bits.

Right now, this set is buy on sale only.

Personally i really don't like that lion and have no need for it what so ever .

Furrow i like a lot in both modes .. However Rotor in alt mode is :SICK:

i'll wait for the finished products before i jump on this set .

Thanks for the pics. The lion/gun reminds me of bonus item on an infomercial that isn't connected to the main product but they throw it in anyway because it's too small to sell by itself.

Surely the lion gun is part of some scrapped Voltron project...seems to have the proper joints for an arm mode :-?

Trying to recover their investment on it by giving it a half-assed gun mode and selling it together with this set is very sneaky, though.

Yeah, not sure what it eventually is going to be all about. It looks like we'll be getting the red lion with the clones. Perhaps X2Toys is trying to create a gimmick thing to get fans to buy some future releases? Maybe a new part of Voltron comes with some future releases? So far I'm not particularly impressed with the Voltron lion. I have these preordered, so I'll reserve final judgement until I get it in hand...
