Yo, ZenPrime, I really dig your shelving system in your sig. Did you make it yourself? Or, is it from a kit? I've seen something like it in a kitchen mag, but it was crazy expensive. I really like how the shelves are linked to the posts all the way down. It looks really secure. How are the shelves supported, pegs, screws, other?

To everyone else. What do you use to display your toys.

I only have two shelves allotted for X-formers, so I rotate them out every couple 'o months. You can see in my sig, but the current pic is fuzzy and only one shelf is shown.

The cheapest shelving you can find at IKEA made of hard pine unfinished. If you buy multiple ones you can bolt them together as the shelves are made that way. The only thing I don't like about the shelves is that there are gaps in the horizontal planks which make it difficult to display figures sometimes but I manage.

I picked up 4 bookcases at Target at $29.99 each, and bolted them together to create a corner display area... Added 3 pieces of molding to hide the seams...

i use the ikea klang shelves. they're metal, about 1 3/4 ft. long, and 4.5 inches deep. most figures will fit. however supreme size will not. course at this point all four walls are covered, i think i might go with soundstang's idea next. time to start putting them in rows. single file it can be no more.

Thanx for the input.

Hey, SoundStang, what's in the corner? Is it just empty space with a board on top to keep toys from falling in?

You are correct, just empty space back there, I used corner brackets to bolt the two corners together then cut a piece of wood to cover the top of the space, it too is bolted on by way of "L" brackets. I have the entire thing on those "Robot Sliders" at the bottom so when I unscrew it from the wall, the 4 bookcases will all slide as one piece.

SoundStang are the backs of the bookshelves cardboard or a thin sheet of plywood. Most of the ones I have bought are cardboard. Also, how do you have your seekers attacked to the wall, tape?

I have to agree with Counterpunch (maybe it Snaptrap's fault) but I think your set up is sharp also.

Is that your actual collection? 0.o You have many duplicates of certain toys. Are you selling some of those? Or is that part of the collecting process? hehe

The backs of the bookshelves is cardboard... I have my seekers attached by using the wire twisties that come with the toys and a simple thumbtack.

Thanks for the complement about my setup.
