But alone

I would win. Sure I may lose the ability to use one arm. But I'll drop that pitbull, then use my useless arm to beat the life out of Vic.

Well, since I'm Spider-Man, I'd just cover its face with webbing until it couldn't breathe anymore.

Climb a tree and the throw stuff at it.Or get a branch and beat the **** out of it.

edit: after browsing google, I can safely say that if a pit bull were to attack me I may as well just call myself butchers complete or pedigree chum.

Id like to see one of these suckers even TRY to knock me down...

Then again..the loss of an arm and a leg could be detrimental later in life..

LOL thats good but what if it happens by surprise.

i was actually talking to my brother about this the other day. i think a human male in decent shape with decent strength, or a female with above average strength would win. people tend to go on the defensive when their attacked by animals and do nothing by try and cover their throat and face, meaning that whatevers attacking them might have trouble getting to those spots, but the animal is in no danger because the human isnt fighting back.

so if someone went in with any kind of strategy i think theyd win. a person has a huge size advantage over a pitbull, and a person has alot of weapons at their disposal. a dog had its teeth, thats it, a person has fists elbows knees head butts, kicks, grappling, choking, eye gouging, biting and whatever else they can do depending on what position their in. if you could get your hand around its mouth and hold it closed it should be neutralized and you can then go for the eyes or move yourself behind it and choke it, or just pick it up by its hind legs and slam it into the ground a few times.

so i could keep my cool and not leave my throat too vulnerable i think id probably win. to bite me a dog has to put its head in harms way and risk me getting a hold of it and going for the eyes or trying to break its nose, but i can use fists and different holds to keep away from its mouth and cause damage. i think using kicks while your were standing up would be stupid, if it go a hold of your foot you might fall over, and then while your trying to re orientate yourself it could be on you. i win. probably.

My cousin has one-- he's pretty short, though solid muscle.

Might lose an eye or a finger, but once I got my hands around the throat, I'd be done.
