Well it was more of the "We met one time at a comic book convention a couple years ago" type of question.When I worked at Marvel he was no longer involved with the day to day operations of the company.....his dealing were more with the Holly Wood aspect of Marvels buisness.
The reason why I wanted to know if he remembered me was because the weekend of that convention that I met him at was the same weekend that I found out that I was a diagnosed with diabetes and in talking to him I found out that he also had some issues with high suger and not only did he give me some advise he brought me over to the back room to introduce me to "Dave Cockrum" who had just been diagnosed with diabetes as well and Stan thought I could learn some things from him.
"Dave Cockrum" was a comic book creater and artist that helped to create the 2nd generation of X-men.He created the X-men characters of Nightcrewler,Storm and Colossus.It was also partly his idea to change the character of Jean Grey [then called Marvel Girl] into the Phoenix and he was also responcable for transfering the character of Wolverine into the ranks of the X-men.
Wolverines first appearance [which I have] was as a Hulk adversary in The Incredible Hulk 180.
"Dave Cockrum" passed away about a year or two ago from issues related to Diabetes.
Anyway I was shocked to find out that Stan did infact remember me and had wondered how things turned out for me.He said he didnt reconnise me from my time at Marvel but to tell the truth I only saw him there about 5 times in the year+ that I worked there and the only words we shared was a hello or good morning.
Truth be told he could have been lying about remembering me to spare my feelings but after we talked he bought me a hotdog so ether way he's cool in my book
Anyway my time at Marvel wasnt really exsiting or anything.I was a gloayfide messenger and go-for.I also worked in the file room for a few months which for me was the best.
I spent my time looking up old Transformer episode scripts and production information.

I actully do try to get a signed poster for every show I work, not just by the actors but the crew as well, not for fan wank but it's like haveing a year book in school. Anyway, the small cast shows I allways get everyone to sign. The larger cast shows some times I end up seeing signatures of people I didn't even know were in the show or simply just don't get everyone.
There are other things that makeing working a show more enjoyable for me as well, not just knowing and likeing the people involved. For one thing it helps if I actully LIKE the show. Some times I don't. It allso helps if I can keep buisy back stage. The current show I'm working on gives me neither of the second two. I have a total of 6 ques, spaced REALLY far apart, and for the rest of the show I actully have time to sleep in the green room between ques. I allso really don't like the show. It's Miracle Worker, based on a true story of Hellen Keller and Annie Sullivan. My main reason for my dislike of the show is I don't agree with some of Annie's methods for teaching Hellen and I can't belive she'd treat a blind and def child that way after she herself had been blind. The actress who plays Annie is a really nice person, not like her character AT ALL. She worries about Leah's (Hellen's) safety durring the fight scenes more than her own.
This is actully a fairly big cast and I don't see Annie much durring the show so I can't even remember her real name right now. Leah's I remember because I see her alot more durring the show and between shows because she useually doesn't leave the theater.
I'm sure I'm going to remember her name either right after I hit the post button or while I'm trying to sleep and I get to loose an hour tonight, oh joy. (That oh joy part was sarcasum)
Well at least you seem to like your job over all.My dream was to be a comic book artist.And I was told that my work was very promising.I even got into the "JOE KUBERT SCHOOL OF CARTOON AND GRAPHIC ART" while I was still in high school.
But diabetes caused a condition known as "Diabetic Neuropathy" to claim almost all of the sensation and finer function of my left hand and I'm left handed so I was unable to work under a dead-line so that ended my dreams.
