Hey I saw this at my local Toys R Us over in West Colonial Dr.

Now I usually kick myself for not buying a certain transformer because later on I discover thats it's all of a sudden really rare, but in this case, it's only $40 and with my Gift card, $35ish. So I am asking you guys, the experts, is it worth a buy to buy a slightly banged up 10th anniversary Optimal Primus Vs. Megatron?

It is a good set. You should get it. It has been out for awhile and is no longer on many store shelves.

Be warned there are reports of the Megatron in the Beast Wars 10th Anniversary vs. set having a hip defect that makes his torso to spin loose. I brought 2 sets when it first came out but wasn't able to return them in time. So I'm just going to keep them sealed since I already have the original ones on display.

Every TRU in my range has at least 5 of these and I keep waiting for them to go on clearence. I want that set but I think $30 would be a much better price.

Same here, I see them everywhere. I have one set MISB but I want another set to open. TRU sucks at putting stuff on clearance though. I see all kinds of stuff in the store "on clearance" with the new orange price tag that has the same price it was set at before.

They are both great figures.

Megatron is far superior though, one of the best Deluxe sized figures of any series, and my Favourite T-Rex Megatron figure ever.

Best thing about Primal is he can give you the thumbs up, making for some very good poses.

got the original Megatron back when I was little. Only change they made was more paint apps and they removed the battle mask with a new head. Never got the original Optimus though. But I got the TRU two pack rerelease for my B-Day. They looks pretty cool. Really enjoying the Optimus now that I have him

That was my same situation. I has almost every figure from Beast Wars but never the T-Rex and Ape version...just the bat vs aligator. I pickedup the TRU 10th Anni but havent opened it yet, I just unpacked it too with a whole bunch of other BW figures and Neo stuff. I got a shelf waiting for them all.

There's about 3-4 at both of the TRUs local to me. I'd not call 'em rare exactly.

Is this TRU exclusive? Because my TRU sucks, and only carries movie toys.... and has 2 Cybertron figs on clearance, but that's moot point.
