Ok, I'm new to this place, this is my 1st topic..
What was the 1st TF series you watched? the 1st I watched was Transformers Energon.

I remember watching Generation Two, though proof exists that I was watching the original G1 cartoon, though I can't remember back that far. Of course, I was around one or two years old, then...

the G2 TV show? wasn't it just a G1 episodes with new effects and a bit of the color changed?

I remember watching G1 as a boy. Matter of fact, my uncle had the pilot on Betamax.

And? It was still a Transformers cartoon.

The first I ever watched was G1, my cousin basically brought me up with his old TF VHSs, but the first I ever watched on TV was Beast Wars.

Yeah, "G2" was first for me as well, in the early 90s. I didn't actually see the 86 movie until the year 2000.

G1 was the first series I ever saw. I remember seeing the first season, but it may have been as reruns and not during the original run but I saw the original series in its entirety on television.

G1 cartoon, I'm a child of the 80's.

i watched G1 when episodes were new dag-nab-it! I remember sitting in the theatre for the g1 animated movie and crying when optimus died. (granted i was 3, but i still remember that as one of my earliest childhood moments)

Well from what my dad told, I saw the original 1986 movie and it was suposidly the first movie I have ever seen in theaters. But considering it came out August 8, 1986 and I was born March 6, 1986 that would mean I was 5 months old when I saw it.

Not that unbelivable when you consider I took my Nephews to see Ironman when it came out and they're not much older than I was when I saw Transformers. Allthough Tredo did fall asleep on my arm about half way into the movie.

Anyway the first series I can actully remember watching was Beast Wars. Allthough I do remember watching Transformers when I was 4 and 5 I had forgotten about them till Beast Wars.

So take your pick. I'm a G1/BW guy.

There are probly many others like me... scratch that there ARE many others like me who may of started by watching G1 but were too young to really remember it and got reintroduced through a different series.

Ohh I just realized something... no one has said this yet... so I get to say it...

I believe I was seven years old or so. ^^

The first series I watched when I was young was G1 when it was on Fox Kids in the UK, full episodes that were cut down to 3 minute segments when they appeared after and during programs.

You think you guys are old? I not only saw all the G1 one when it originally aired, I was the tallest person in the Theater during the 1986 movie that wasn't a parent. I had to contain the comments coming out of my own mouth during that movie just because of all the young children present. If I remember right I was going into 8th grade that year. Anyone gives me crap about my age get's beat over the head with my cane!

I was born in 1990 so I was DEFINATELY older than seven.

I was 12 or so. 6th grade.
I just know I watched during one of those years I lived at my dad's place.

And I graduated High School in 1991. So Yeah, I am too that old.

And the cool part is that most of the info I recall about the G1 cartoon series is from the original airing since I own NONE of the DVD's or VHS for G1 and have done very little if any "catching up" on YouTube as far as G1 goes.
