I'm not too sure about this release. Sure TC is my fave Seeker but i'm not entirely convinced the Jetfire mold is the right choice.
They did a great job on the retooling but what i think turns me off of it is that you don't see the colours on his wings in bot mod that your supposed to. Just the skeletonized wings. I would be somewhat ok with that if only they had smoothed them out so you could at least reprolabel them or customize them.
It's so close to being awesome but it's just not sitting well with me.

The whole thing just seems wrong to me. Not that the figure doesn't look good, but TC as a leader, why? As a retool of JF, why? I just don't get it. But that's okay, if other people like it, good for them, I don't have to like everything. Less money out of my pocket.

The biggest thing that puts me off is there should always be the three seekers of the same mold. Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp.

Agreed. I get that they're trying to capitalize on Thundercracker's appearance in the RID comics, but it has the feeling of needless retool all over it.

Thundercracker is one of my favorites in the comics right now. Really compelling take on the character. Can't wait for a big 'ol version of him. Not worried about the other seekers - they'll get done by Takara at least.
Although I absolutely adore that the comics have the "main" three seekers as all different toy molds at the moment, with different allegiances:
Starscream: Armada Starscream, ruling Cybertron like a boss
Skywarp: Teleporting Galvatron's crew around like a boss, in his FoC style body
Thundercracker: Writing screenplays with his puppy like a boss, not doing what anyone tells him, in his Legends/Leader hybrid looking incarnation
