five brave warriors of both spieces are sent without any mean of communication and transport on a deserted island. Vegetation is thick and covers most of the island. They can't leave unless their opponent is dead.

Well in defense of the klingons they would totally just burn the island down.

wookiees still win though since they giant walking carpets that freaking pwn

I'm afraid I must vote in favour of the klingons. Yes wookies win with brute strength, however I believe that most aren't trained in real hand-to-hand combat skills. Wookies are trained to fight and move in the jungles that are their home, working together to bring down the creatures that can be found there. Klingong on the other hand train against the most dangerous of foes on a constant basis: other klingons. Not to mention that hand to hand fighting is almost as natural for them as riding a bike is for us.

Unless the island is dense jungle where Wookies have the environment on their side, I'm saying Klingons

Agreed. Let's not underestimate the Kligons. They are a race of warriors born. Not saying it would be a push over for them but in end the Klingons would win.

Gotta go with the wookies.

Any forest or jungle environment they win. They're born hunters and born warriors, they've long been able to face the harsh surface of Kashyyk.

While the Klingons are great warriors, unless the Klingons are also great hunters and trackers, they're screwed.
