Also, these designs in the artwork are original designs not based on preexisting ones, made especially for this occasion, and (for those wondering) should not be taken as implying the coming of new toys based on them.

No it's not. That's Shrapnel's gig. Thundercracker makes weaponised sonic booms.

Ion Storm's lightning ability is more internal whereas as Shrapnel's is harnessed from them sky. TC never had lightning abilities like Insurgent mentioned.

These look awesome, and they sound appropriately epic Would love to see them made into CW limbs (can you just imagine airraid tatted up in lightning bolts )

The art work for the rainmakers was a private commission back in 2012 and we did not know at the time it would make it to being official but we held hope on it. The images of Ion Storm and Acid Storm were the first renderings in the upgraded style i sketched out. Then the current image of Nova storm came later. I colored all three of them and did the original concept for which their final lines are rendered from. i also personally named Nova Storm back in early 2011 and helped come up with the first name Ion Storm had.

This was a project of passion done by fans and because i am also a comic colorist and have done work the last 2 years with fun pub i had made some friends and was approached on their info.

Here is the original image for Nova Storm. i used this back in 2012 at botcon in the digital art contest.

And, just to be 100% clear: it was great to work with Brandy and Betsy on this, because they obviously have a ton of enthusiasm for these characters and lots of backstory worked out for them, but as far as FP is concerned, the only thing that we are considering canon is what Vector Prime actually wrote, and even then, it only definitely applies to the Wings universe. Other writers may go in other directions.

Several days late but good stuff all around on these. Fun to see new takes on Seekers outside of the norm! Any plans to make prints of these available?
