Isn't Beast Machines one of the LEAST popular TF series?

It kinda' was, until...

*DRUMROLL*

...they meshed the G1 guys back in to get the "old" fans back into the franchise. It was certainly my big turning point.

I'm am exceptionally confused.

1. How can a design be made from scratch WITHOUT being 100% new? I mean, 90% new wouldn't be from scratch, it would be heavily redesigned.

2. Have you ever designed something "100-freaking-percent" new in your life? I takes hella effort.

... ... ...err, how is it hard to create any old robot, make him into any old jet, then give him the name Starscream? :-?
