At Botcon, they first showed an image of Megatronus, and then showed a picture of The Fallen with the name Megatronus crossed out like so, indicating that he was no longer Megatronus and was now forevermore to be known simply as "The Fallen".

Not to mention that the two had the same pose and body-build, with The Fallen just being engulfed in flames all over himself and looking a bit more hideous than his old self.

Does anyone have pictures of this?

I think the 13 were all considered a 'Prime' at some point in their lives.

As for an mvs, I take it to mean he is present in all the different TF universes, but is still just the same being.

Well in the world of transformers there are of course several different realities of them. Hence, RID/car robots, unicron trilogy, different realities and universes of transformers. Across the multiverse, there are many versions of many beings, each existing independently of each other. They may share similarities, or they may be complete opposites, but each is their own unique individual. However, there are a handful of beings of which there is only one, a single entity without a counterpart in the multiverse. Traditionally of great significance, these beings may exist across multiple universes (even all universes) simultaneously yet remain a single individual (as does Primus) or they may only reside in one universe at a time but have the ability to move from universe to universe at will (as does Unicron). (from tfwiki)

In a way its very interesting I think. It makes me wonder though of if those characters who have just a singular individuality within those other universes that the ones in other universes know of its existence, like are they aware of the other universes as well as the one they are currently in. =o

Actually, I think it makes perfect sense. Consider this.

The Fallen/Megatronus was created by Primus to be the God of Entropy, charged with the proper decay of the universe. The others turned on him because he took to the job too well. Megatron obviously took the name because of his single minded goal of the total destruction of all in his way.

The name makes sense, yes. It fits the Fallen. Giving him a name is what irks me.

Yeah I kinda felt that way to even though I sorta wondered who he was called.. I feel like it just breaks the whole mystery about it. But then again..maybe that means origin story revealing more about the 13. =o Finally knowing who all of them are. Like why some of them turned against primus in the first place.

So we know his name then. It make since. What I want to know now though is what the other 13 are called. I know of Prima, Liege Maximo, and now Megatronus. I remember seeing a list of them somewhere but I forgot where, I think the Last Autobot was listed there as well...

XD Sometimes I do that to! Me personally I kinda meld different continualities into one so it makes more sense to me so even though that the 13 originated from the cybertron/galaxy force I still consider it part of the origin that made the transformers what they are today. It just makes more sense to me to do it that way depending on what it is considering that many of the ideas they come up with end up doing that eventually with some of them anyway. Though I recently read the megatron origin which was pretty interesting and I sorta integrated that into the WFC idea of it. Its interesting to know how they became what they are as we know them now.

I recently was able to download some old comics explaining the origin of primus and unicron, that stuff was pretty cool though I ignored most of the other stuff that was going on while the story was being told. XD I also read the balancing act which dealt with vector prime explaining his role. I was surprised because at one point omega prime showed up I was like WHAT!? XD I never realized how confusing the comics can be until I actually started reading a few of them. Either way, its still pretty freakin awesome!

You think that's bad, the Unicron and Primus origin has 3 versions:

1. The version told by Unicron, this one mentions that there were actually multiple gods. Primus was described as lord of the light gods. Unicron also had shield which resembled the Decepticon insignia.

2. The version told by the Keeper. Okay, this guy wasn't there or anything, but he leaves out a number things mentioned in the Primus and Unicron versions.

3. The version told by Primus. This version was more elaborate than what the Keeper told. It also explains that the Transformers ability to transform was actually copied from Unicron. Yeah, that's right, Primus copied Unicron's gimmick. But I guess that you probably read this version.

Yeah I read all three. Primus also shaped his prison like unicron and became the planet but with life instead of making it for destruction. They were all pretty interesting though. I would of much prefered if they made it into a story they were just telling instead of having a battle go on while the story was being told. XP It made it kinda confusing.

I quite like the name Megatronus, not sure about the Prime suffix though I like the idea that all the 13 are Primes. Though Megatronus Prime sounds no worse than Zeta (should have been Sentinel) Prime.

The only problem I have with the 13 is the inclusion of Alpha Trion but then the mere mention of him irks me no end.

Great all this talk of the Fallen has me wanting to go back and buy him after I saw him going for half price today, the Movie version, that is.

Sentinel Prime is in the book, EXODUS, which is being used as a bit of Retcon for Transformers history.

He is the Prime previous to Optimus. He has a moment where he goes coward, and then is imprisoned, and then regains his pride by protecting the prize Megatron is after...at a hefty expense. The game doesn't do it that way, I hear, but that is how the book does it.
