A Small Petion
Just thought, with the sequal in such an early stag of production, now is the time to just get dome basic things down that we want in the next movie...
To make it simple, we may want a few different threads, on for each issue, like one for 'dinobots vs. constructicons'... but this one I feel is very straight forward: returning robotic charactures.
By posting here, you agree that:
1. All autobots not killed in 'Transformers' (2007) should be brought back for the second installment.
2. Megatron should be resurrected in some form (I'll leave which version to a different thread, if someone wants to make it).
3. Barricade, Starscream, and Scorponok should make an appearance (Provided no new footage is released showing any previously off-screen deaths).

Megatron comes back with a design more similar to the other earth robots....& has an arm cannon similar to Ironhide's but quite a bit bigger. Something similar to Wreckage would be fantastic.
More character development on robots.
Different design for Starscream.....at least in the head....
Soundwave as some kind of comm truck.
Optimus with a trailer. & it has to have his trademark blue stripes with the crook at the end. Autobot symbol optional. I don't care if he has one for only about 3 minutes & then it gets blown to pieces, but give him one. IMHO, it would be great for it to transform into some form of big-arse cannon or mobile weapon base before that happens....maybe to shoot at Starscream or some other flying D-con before that happens.
...alternate methods of gatting rid of itwhile action is going on would be some form of roller can drive it when Prime's not, or perhaps it could turn into it's own robot, similar to God Bomber/Apex.
Return of Barricade.
If baymakes the aircraft carrier TF he was wanting to make.....Tidal Wave.......
Decepticons looking for fuel.
Prime's "there's a thin line between being a hero & being a memory" line.
Ultra Magnus.
Mirage. light-refracting camo stuff always makes for good special effects.

What a judgmental juxtaposition you have there. We can definitely do without that. And that's something I don't respect.
And I agree with the "no arm cannon" thing. Movie Megatron already has two built in arms cannons. For the sheer fact that it would be a visual, and aesthetic HENDERANCE, then it should stay gone.

Not really. It just has to be well done. I am not saying the entire movie is 3D, as n the surroundings too, just the Transformers.
If they really wanted some humans, at least have the very few from the cartoon and that's it, not all these damn cops and ****.

Well, that was something I think G1 needed... more governmental intrusion. It was unrealistic that Spike just ran around with them like he was meeting up with buddies to go out and drink.
There'd have been government guys all over the poor kid.
NOW, that too could be "done right".
Have the military being as invasive as one would expect, followed by them having a cool fall-out with the Transformers, leaving them to be in order to not get in the way.
From that point on, you could then have returned to Transformers stealing most of the screen time.
A WORLD of potential missed on that one, G1 or bad movie.

Seriously, the main reason for the arm cannon would be pure intimidation. he's already walking badass, a giant cannon strapped to his arm would only make that scenario better. I mean honestly, who would you be more afraid of, a p*ssed-off lookin' guy walking down the street with a concealed sawed-off shotgun, or the p*ssed-off guy walking down the street with a bazooka over his shoulder?
& if a big-arse cannon off his arm would be any kind of hinderance to the all-powerful Megatron....then maybe he's not as all-powerful as he claims.
