An Autobot traitor?
Skimming over the episode synopsis list, i see there's an ep. titled "Autobot Camp", in which Bumblebee recounts a meeting with an Autobot traitor with Bulkhead at Autobot boot camp. do we know who this traitor is?

Not for sure. Probably not Elita-One, I was thinking maybe Sentinel Prime. He has enough bad feelings, and in today's episode we saw that Bumblebee and Bulkhead had met him previously.

yeah, that's who immediately springs to mind, but that's might be too obvious a candidate. I actually hope they don't make Sentinel Prime a traitor. If he's a decepticon spy disguised as an autobot, you'd expect him to be more deceptively nice, and if he had already betrayed the autobots, you'd think he'd either have been kicked out, or at least not be so high ranking.

Re: An Autobot traitor?
I should have read this thread first before posting in the episode reaction thread. I do think Sentinal is a cheat to win sort of guy, and Bumblebee and Bulkhead probably saw some of his true colors back in bootcamp. I think Sentinal did something devious and is now in the place that Optimus should rightfully be in.
Now that you mention the eppy synopisis, yovnocrats, I am pretty sure we will have our suspicions confirmed. Sentinal wouldn't set out to intentionally aid the 'cons, not unless it was a "right for him" not "right thing to do" scenario. The big question in my mind is, will he do it again?

considering the fact that in the DW war within comics, sentinel was suppossedly taking back-handers from megatron, i think it would be appropriate that sentinel would be the traitor!

Given the story and how much animated plays it up to G1 characters, I'd say it's Mirage. Besides, that's just another sweet car mode Autobot.
Mind you we haven't seen anything about Oil Slick. Maybe he's the Autobot traitor.
... but it's most likely Mirage.

And what gives you this idea?
Only Ironhide's mugshot has been seen thus far...

Cause of the game on Cartoon Network. I wasn't sure cause it been awhile since I play it much, but when I saw the mugshot, I thought for sure he was part of the game on the Decepticon side.
But, a theory none the less.

Re: An Autobot traitor?
According to Oil Slick's character bio he's the Autobot Traitor.
Sentinel Prime of course can't be the Traitor because if he was he wouldn't be part of the Autobot team now. He's just your typical jerk. Besides that he spends too much time kissing Ultra Magnus' tail gate to be a traitor. The biggest factor would allso be that if he was a Decepticon spy he surely would have known about Blackarachnia long before Optimus did. It's possible that if he ever does find out about her he'll either switch sides or try to convince her to come back to the Autobots. Given his additude it probly wouldn't be hard for him to become a Decepticon later on in the series I just don't think he is now.
The other possibility is that Blurr might be appearing as the traitor sence he later appears in an "illegal" race. I just hope Blurr is closer to his Armada counterpart than G1 but probly won't be. I hate that fast talking Autobot, sounds like my fast talking brother.

I just went and played the only game on their site to do with Transformers Animated and Ironhide is not in it. (at least I can't see him on it.)
Prowl is in deck for both Autobots and Decepticons in that game and allso seems to give a bonus when Starscream is in play but sence Prowl has been with the team sence the begining there's no way he can be the traitor.
Besides that Megatron is allso in both the Autobot and Decepticon decks and he's definatly no Autobot.
Even if Ironhide was in the game as you thought that's no reason to think he's a Decepticon because by that logic, Megatron is an Autobot and Prowl is a Decepticon.
This is annoying me though, there are 4 decks but the last 2 are blacked out. Anyone know how to unlock them?

I he allso voiced Punch/Counterpunch.
Anyway maybe he can't talk that fast anymore? It has been a few years... maybe he'll do something different... ah who am I kidding. I really hate some of the characters in this series.
I actully prefer Jerk Prime over Grimlock and Blurr.

John Mochatta (or how ever you spell it) recently did an episode of Robot Chicken using his fast talking jive'
Pulled it off without a hitch

I'm going with my original theory that Oil Slick is the traitor mentioned in the episode, at least until we see something that suggests otherwise.

Re: An Autobot traitor?
I think that if Oil Slick's BIO says he's an Autobot traitor then he's probably the traitor the episode is refering to.
As to why Bumblebee and Bulkhead knew Sentinel Prime from somewhere, I'm trying to remember the premiere movie when Optimus contacted Sentinel about having the Allspark and all. Were Bumblebee and Bulkhead with Optimus during the call? I seem to remember that Optimus has asked one of them to call Sentinel for him....

That's not what Bublebee and Bulkhead were talking about. They're refering to events in another episode we haven't even seen yet and it happens to be the same episode with the Autobot traitor. At least that's what I think it is, from the episode description and how they said it that's sure what it sounds like. It definatly can't be from that brief phone call, even though Bumblebee and Bulkhead were there they didn't talk to Sentinal long enough for any kind of dialog like that to be brought up later.
Bulkhead: I don't think he remembers us.
Bumblebee: And that's just how I wanna keep it.
Well you saw eachother over a vid screen for all of 10 sec. of course he doesn't remember you, why would that be suprising even to someone as dumb as Bulkhead.
Why would Bumblebee care about weather or not Sentinal remembers him? Nothing happened durring that call to warrent that response.

Re: An Autobot traitor?
This probably wont happen, But it would be a great story that if Blitzwing was a former Autobot and Shockwave would capture him(since Shockwave will be in the toon if you did'nt know)and perform freak experiments with multiple personalities and such-You know, Typical G1-style Shocky stuff.

That would be pretty rad to see. I wouldn't mind seeing Shockwave creating the Constructicons, but we all know that won't happen.
I also wouldn't mind seeing Shockwave beat the crap out of absolutly everyone and take helm of the Decepticons.

Re: An Autobot traitor?
I know Shockwave will be in the series eventually. (Voiced by his G1 Voice actor who is allso currenty doing Megatron) but it doesn't look like he's even in season 2. At least I can't see anything in the episode descriptions to sugest he's being introduced in season 2. Maybe they're still working on getting the rights back to that name before adding him otherwise we might get another Shock Blast insted.

Just to comment on a previous post:
In the Dreamwave comics, Sentinel was NOT helping the Decepticons. The Autobot you're thinking about was Emerite Xeon.
Sentinel Prime was killed on the very first page of the War Within, and was never shown again in flashback.
