I'm glad. I haven't watched The Price is Right in ages, really stopped caring about it, but I like the new guy & wish him the best.

Awesome, good to see Drew Carey getting the job.

Now I still have a reason to get on the Price is Right.

Thankfully Rosie didn't get the job, I had a feeling that every time a contestant went over the price or lost a game, she would eat them.

I could just hear the losing music, then the sound of Rosie chomping down on the person like the rancor did to Oola.

Either one of those last two statements needs to be sigquoted for posterity.

On the topic at hand though, I can definitely see Drew carey running this show and doing it well. My only hope is that he takes it seriously and doesn't try to turn it into his own stand-up session.

Am I the only person who thinks Drew Carey should just go away altogether?

Seriously, even before hearing this I have already been tired of seeing his commercials for that other game show he has coming out.

Nothing against the guy, but he is in no way funny; his "hosting" of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" when they decided to Americanize it (if that is a word) ruined it. Wayne Brady actually looked funny in comparison to Carey on it. Not to mention the fact that he was the least funny person on "The Drew Carey Show" a show named after him and he was the least funny character.

Again, I've got nothing personal against him and I don't wish he was dead or anything, but comedy is definitely not his strength no matter how much he continues to try for it to be.

But, as far as "The Price is Right" hosting goes, I kinda agree with Locust's last sentence. As long as Carey doesn't try and act funny and screw it up like he has everything else, then he will still be a better choice than Rosie.

Wow, I loved the Drew Carey Show, but not because of Drew Carey, but because of everyone else. The new version of Whose Line isn't that bad, mostly because I still love Colin and Ryan - those two are comedic gold. But again, that show isn't funny because of Carey, and I hate the stints that he shoehorns himself into. At least the original host had the common sense to stay out of them.

Anyone is better than Rosie, fortunately.

That fat biotch culdnt be a host of Price is Wright, mainly case she would have contestants fight eachother over political views. Good choice for Drew.

Well I was bored as hell while counting down the seconds for 300 to come out on dvd.

So I made this. I didn't try too hard on it, but yeah this is what we could have expected if Rosie got the job.

Meh, I don't think anyone should replace Bob Barker. The show just won't be the same without him, no matter who the replacement is. They should just retire the show.

Plus, the sheer thought of the producers even considering Rosie O'Donnel tells me the show will have a very short life span now that Bob is gone.

...and Hugo is my hero you creative bastard you :lol:
