ok ive been thinking about beast wars 2 and neo -why -just because -anyway i started thinking about the angolmois energy and the fact its unicrons essence and dark energon is said to be the same -and i know the prime team said its coincidence but come one now what do you think

Given the facts, I'm siding with the design team. Beast Wars 2 and Neo are virtually unknown in the west. I doubt the designers are going to know much.

I was the guy who asked them at the BotCon 2011 panels. They said that they weren't even aware of Angolmois at all, and who could blame them.

but does it mean that their the same thing? both of them do the same thing in most cases -super charges transformers check addictive -check -essence of unicron-sounds like perfume-check

it seems to me that they basically created the same thing

No they're not the same thing as they exist in completely different universes. Does it bother you?

For one, Dark Energon can be made from converted regular energon, while the same has never been shown to be true for Angolmois.

Not to mention that Angolmois hasn't ever turned a dead TF into a zombie.

Though, there is a third substance in this equation that hasn't been brought up yet: The Dark Essence.

Since Dark Energon and Angolmois are from different Universes, I belive that they could beign consider as each other counterparts, but they aren't the same thing. Different Universes, different rules, so different kind of energy. No doby said that Unicron's physiology is identical all the time. Maybe his physicall apperance is deterimed by rules of physics in current reality.

Also, even AC isn't clear about this. Once Dark Energon is manufactured and he gives his psychokinetic abilities, other time it's Unicron's blood that zombifie corpses and gives you control over them.

we never found out what exactly produced dark energon in the game -which also is another entirely different thing -though it did create zombies in the 3rd game combined with the dark spark anti matrix ect. personally im starting to for an idea that it is all the same stuff but its in different concentrations and states -like a derivitive or a different version of it -the angolmois is like dark energon concentrate -the equilivent of like 10 metric tons to one gram of it.

But it doesn't matter, as they aren't the same. Plus they don't need to be. Also the games are part of prime continuity so there dark energon is the same by default.

you already know how i feel about that so don't bother bring that up -also thats a plot issue in primes in the very beginning of the series megatron adds dark energon to him and starscream begs him not to in the game their doing that all the time -and starscream in that game has it too - so skip it.

my point is that it seems to me that its the same stuff anyway you slice it. It also might be because as unicron is the chaos bringer its chaotic in the sense that the effects can be totally random

Again it isn't the same, look at what people are trying to explain to you. In your personal storylines you can have it be the same but they aren't. End of.
