Before

The show is set to air in late fall if I remember correctly.

The toys will be closely tied in.

I could have sworn it was set to air in March/April/May(around that time)?

And if it were to be aired in fall, doesn't it seem like we would already be seeing prototypes? :-?

Wrong, the show is set to air Spring 2008. So we will most surely start seeing protos some time in November.

You know, and maybe it's just a personal irritation of mine, but I really hate when other people drop the 'Wrong.' line in attempting to pass along information.

It wasn't like I was even being an ass in stating what I did. Especially since I claused it with, 'If I remember correctly.

The Promo Poster states Spring 2008. (unfortunately whoever is mirroring, it has exceeded their bandwidth, so it can no longer be seen).

They have produced a Promo 90 minute special episode, scheduled to air in early 2008. I take that to be January of maybe February.

But the main cartoon wont show up until later in the year.

It also says the toys will be released around that time.

We will be swimming in Movie stuff till the end of the year. I think the only thing thats coming up for fall is the new Universe line (Classics 2.0).

No worries.

I wasn't entirely sure to begin with. By the time I heard all that stuff at BotCon, I was basically on about 5 hours of sleep and essentially only running on coffee and adrenaline.

Unless I misunderstood, I thought Classics 2.0 was coming out in Fall 2008.

You are right, just checked Seibs's "Live from the Sunday Panel" thread and he does say Fall 2008. Anybody else think its just too far away for them to have actually given us a glimpse of it?

I have read nothing to contradict a March or so start for the Animated line of figures.

In Australia, the Cybertron toys started appearing on shelves at the same time as the show started airing in the USA, about 6 weeks later the show first aired here.

I doubt the toys will be available before Christmas if the March release is correct, but I wouldn't complain if a few were available by then.

I was about to state that very thing that I had heard again. I am not sure if January kicks off the regular series, or just the special, and then we need to wait for another few months.

Having movie toys take up all my interest until Fall '08 seems like a long time... Hopefully the show toys will be out when the show first airs.
