Just saw the first episode of Slayers. Not bad. Certainly one of my top 5.

medabots was meh.

Couldn't find gundam on youtube.

I F**kin' loved robotech.

i don't watch alot of anime and i have a very casual taste (so i like MS;gundam wing...) but i found that Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 to be rather good. Appleseed Ex Machina is rather nice too

Try tokko you can get the complete series boxset for $30 it is one of the more interesting anime series I have watched in a while. Cowboy bebop is also cool and ghost in the shell stand alone complex and sequel are also excelent.

Holy crap, I had forgotten Tokko existed. That's because it was boring as hell and the story accomplished absolutely nothing. :-(

I wouldn't watch it if I were you. But I am not you I suppose...

Don't watch Robotech. That series was a chopped up version of Macross. You'll get to a point in that series where you have no idea what's going on so stick with Macross.

Then get subtitles. A series with subtitles in infinitely better than a series that has been butchered to be in English.

Here's another suggestion: Don't rely on YouTube. It's library is, at best, limited.

I can't say anything out loud because of rules on this site, but there's only one sure-fire way to get the series you want...Erm...Hoist the Jolly Roger.

Join us in "the first to post wins" thread in the party forum, he's a lot of fun to hit.

I know of quite a few dubs that are actually really good. Devil May Cry being one of them. You should definitely check out that series.

Macross was butchered to the point of being almost unreconizable in the 80's for US distribution. The storylines were really screwed up when they edited the series and even threw in a series that was'nt part of them in the first place. Macross has been dubbed in english, but you have to buy the DVD's.

That's too bad. Outlaw Star is one of the best animes ever. Ever since, we've had nothing, but lousy anime for a while. (with a few exceptions)

It's sad because it seems like we've gone into this period of bad anime and have'nt been able to get out of it. Does anyone remember when we used to have one awesome series after another?

Just because an anime is'nt funny does'nt mean it sucks. I've never seen lucky star, but I'll say that bobobobobobobobo was the worst anime ever created and those responsible must be punished.
