Anyone have personal experience with these replicas?
I would be tempted to buy them if they were done well.

On ebay you can find China Reissued versions of aerialbots, defensor, menasor, combaticons, etc.

Usually I hate to spend money on replicas, but these replicas are selling for just $12....

They even have wheeljack alternator for just $20...

I've got several of them. Let me say that while the overall look is preserved, the plastic they use is most often of the cheapest kind, prone to breaking and chipping of handled incorrectly(sort of like the gold plastic used in earlier TF toys) Another observation I've made is that some details were simplified to reduce production costs.

The cassettes are EXCELLENT!

The combiners are CRAP!

The reflector knock off is just OK.

I have the Swoop KO and let me say it is terrible. It may have been my figure but the weapons won't stay in his hands or wings. It is hard to make him stand up. Also, the first time I transformed him his face fell off his head. Spent a good ten minutes trying to find it.

Of the more recent ones, only the tapes and OP are any good. Going back a while, there were some real beauties including the whole range of oversized figures.

BTW, Black G1 OP KO is definately worth a pick up.
