Anyone ever order from E-Hobby?

Postby Bonger » Tue Sep 04, 2007 2:04 am

Hi,

If you have I need some help. I manage to find and identify what I want and get it to my cart. Howevver, the checkout is in Japanese or Chinese and cannot seem to figure out how to switch it to English.

Is it possible to change the language? How are their shipping charges? If the language canot be switched, how did you go about ordering?

Thanks.

Google Language tools is usually sorta helpful. They usually require a Japanese address. Ive heard of people ordering int'l, but they stopped doing it. Apparently they have been ignoring emails in English, since many collectors would send in orders in English with CC numbers...kinda crazy. The checkout can't be switched. I might order from them in 2 weeks, still waiting on a ton of stuff coming through EMS shipping. I use a Japanese mail drop by the way.

Yeah, I was going to order the same thing- 2pack galvatron or just the reg. one? Victory Saber looks nice as well. Im just waiting for some packages to arrive- I hate when too much stuff is in shipping- it makes me uncomfortable. 2k is floating around right now- so give me a week and a half.

I thought about the 2 pack, but I already have a G1, so it seems like a waste. If I recall, the other one in the 2 pack is just a G1, nothing special added on.

The anime with the Matrix looks awesome though, as does Overcharge.

Im confused

The single pack is in the US original colors (Galvatron II):

The anime resembles the original movie (only sold in this 2 pack on ehobby):

http://www.e-hobby.co.jp/cgi-bin/omc?po ... 8698000000

http://www.tfsource.com/Reissues/Galvat ... vatron.htm

* Anime Galvatron (2005)

When the Galvatron toy was reissued in 2005, it followed a trend established by some earlier figures, and fulfilled a dream long held by many fans - a version of the toy re-decoed in the purple color scheme of the animated series. But this was not a simple color swap, with different paint applications and stickers made specially for the toy to recreate the animated appearance as best as possible. A new, snarling face sculpt was created, and the toy came packaged with a die-cast metal Matrix accessory. His electronics—now powered by two AA batteries—were also completely altered. The LED was switched to red and his sounds were brand new—the first setting became a single laser blast, the second was the classic transforming sound effect, and the third was one of five sound bytes from the Japanese version of the film.

* Galvatron II (2005)

Released concurrently with the 2005 reissue, this exclusive version of the figure available from online retailer eHobby featured the figure's original gray color scheme, but retained the new face sculpt and electronics of the reissue. The Matrix accessory was now chromed green, in reference to the appearance of the Matrix in the Marvel Comics series. The figure also included a set of exclusive stickers in the form of small golden electricity bolt decals which could be applied to the figure if the owner chose to do so, and which were based on a piece of early artwork of Galvatron from Japan's TV Magazine.

Its under G1 Reissues and not ehobby exclusives.

Now to figure out how to order these 2, as the ehobby price beats the hell outta ebay.

I think the problem I had was they want shipping to match Credit Card address- and that is not possible for my mail drop address, so I think I will have to get somebody with a Japan address to buy from ehobby for me. Its doable.

Hmm, my CC matches my address. If you can figure out how to order from the US, I can order for both of us and then ship to you. Probably save us some shipping. I'm guessing about 40 for EMS, so 20 each.
