Ironhide was seen walking and fighting with a flaming hole in his chest. Scorponok took half of Jetfire's midsection apart and he still functioned, at least until he gave himself to Prime.

Christo, I was in the same frame of mind as you over the new Arcee design. We already had a pretty decent design from the 2007 movie and had expected her to at least be something along similar lines. Bots on wheels didn't make any sense but the thing is I was thinking in terms of the toys. How do they stand up etc etc. On screen however, I can understand why some bots have been given wheels. I saw the film last night and bots with wheels allows them, while in bot mode, to keep up with vehicles while during a chase. They are able to shoot, grab etc. If the Arcee's had been given two legs they wouldn't have been able to do that meaning that the chase would have simply been a straight car/bike chase. It gives move screen time for the bots and looks more exciting etc. Granted, they could have gone down the Sideswipe route with two legs each with a wheel ( Sideswipe has a couple of great scenes where he skates about ).

I'm not going to buy the toys ( unless they are on sale ) as I'm not keen on the wheeled look but I can understand why they are the way they are. It makes them more dynamic and useful during the chase.

I thought that the Arcee's weren't cool at all in this film. I think that they should have went with the original model of Arcee. They also said like one or two lines and that made a letdown for me.
