Okay, this is my first forum.

I just wanted to say: If Arcee was in the next movie, she'd have to fight like the rest.

My question is: Would it be mysogynist if Decepticons started beating her up? I mean, would it be bad if people saw her getting shot at repeatedly? Or punched and kicked repeatedly?

cuz i'd imagine a Decepticon saying, "Die, you @#$%&!"

But I'm not being mysogynist either!

It would be weird for a big hulking Con to fight Arcee in a one-on-one match. She'd probably fight either in a team or against an equally smaller Con. Some damage is fine, as long as she doesn't get more than the other Autobots. Then people would be in an uproar, saying TF is racist and sexist.

how would it be racist? transformers dont show sign of race. they're just male and female cybertronians.

Man, if they put Arcee in the next film, she'll just kick everyone's arse. She'll make Optimus and the other Autobots look like wimps.

I think rushie means people would think racist because Jazz was killed off.

The only thing I'd dislike about seeing it is not beingn able to join in. Never like the idea of Arcee.

everybody got thrown around a lot in the movie, so i'm sure she'll get a kick that will send her flying, just like the others

if she is in the next movie as anything other then filler i think that would be just retarded....the only thing she needs to be doing in the next movie is cleaning up the new earth ark they will be building....

They should open the next movie with her getting blown into a million pieces.

My only gripe about Arcee is her size...I think I read she would be like 9 feet tall. As a Ducati Bike , I can see that..but to me..That is small. I know Frenzy was even shorted but I think she is a bigger character than Frenzy, she shouldnt be something like a minion. Just an Idea..either way, I hope she is in..my 3 year old daughter hasnt stopped asking em about her since I mentioned it to her.

Indeed, Bay wants to start work on it now, I think it's slated for 2009. Early days yet though.

Why would it become lame? I wouldn't be surprised if the writers wanted to write in a strong female role into the Transformers ranks. Also, the first film wasn't exactly NOT comical now was it.

Why would a TF handicap itself by immitating a smaller framed humanoid with a personality less inclind to violence? And if it is a naturaly occuring state how did it come to be? What role would a "female" personality play in a non breeding, non family orianted species of living robots? The Human female personality has been heavily influenced by their role as care giver and homemaker for 99.9% of our evoluionary history. Their body shape and voice all for the purpose of breeding. TFs didnt need caregivers of that nature, nor to they need homemakers or offspring.
Because of this I can see their species developing as a dominate(powerfull)/ submissive(weak) hiarchy much like a millitary and typical human male social behavior. I dont see a reason for the existance of a female like gender which left to its own devices would undoubtably be socialistic/communistic in nature and probably war free.

What is a strong female personality anyways? What traits am I going to see as female as apposed to male? How would these differ from BBs' personality aside from (clearly pointless) boobs and a sexy voice?

Of course why look like humans at all? It is not a superior design for battle. The only reason they do is because the first TF were based on a toy that wasnt an alien lifeform.
