Correction 2 Unleashed... $35 ea, highly accurate and detailed. I will get a few Legends, but will go fr the Unleashed line first...i_amtrunks wrote:1 Unleashed; no transformation, badly painted statue/bookend, for $45-$50.

tom brokaw wrote:go for 'em.... i mean theyre not that bad.... they maybe shouldve been priced like at 3$, or maybe even perfect as a happy meal toy. but i dont think 5$ is too much for them. jazz looks pretty cool too, but some look busted as heck(ratchet). but its your choice mostly. but just think, with 2 legends you can get a deluxe.
But they are pretty or in other words not pretty but really nice looking to me. You guys might not like them because they don't transform, although they are already Transformed with the turnarounds, but I know what you will say "where's the fun in that... hey at least they look more like a transformer in robot mode then a Legend toy that just has red, blue, yellow and whatever other colors there are just slapped on him. Take example for Barricade he just has a police sign on him with black paint slobbered all over him with silver claws and red knees. I find that really movie accurate don't you?... Not!Burn wrote:Dude, you're young, so we can still save your soul.
Legends = Transformers that transform.
Unleashed = Transformers that just sit there and go "look at me! I'm so pretty!"
Fight back against non-transforming junk! Save your soul while there's still time!
Bumbled wrote:Anyways I only asked the question are they worth a buy... not are Legends better than Unleashed.. or can someone help me save my soul from the Non Transforming Junk...![]()

i could write a 10 page rant against people comparing them to fast food toys.
take the burger king movie bumblebee.
take legends bumblebee.
the first just stands on a block that rotates to show a stock picture of a car.
the better one transforms, has a 3d reasonable accurate car mode, with goood robot articulation, easily modded legs to give knee action.
the crappier bumblebee has maybe 10 pieces at most, with no artiulation on the statue/figure itself
legends bumblebee has 17 plastic parts and 12 screws/rivets/pins.
would a happy meal toy really have that much engineering.
stupid idiots, comparing decent pocket treansformers to wastes of plastic distrubuted at reseraunts whech serve food that barely qualifys as such.
sorry to be so visious, but this guy needs to get out of his idiocy bubble
Valandar wrote:I really don't think the movie Legends are half as good as the Cybertron legends. Mainly because the LOC had something the LO"M" don't have.
Reasonable articulation.
Geez, even most minicons have more articulation than the movie Legends.

So thats the line that gets in the way... you still like the toys and play with them... maybe I have the more no play but look, I use them for design and stand-outs not for playing.Burn wrote:
Hey you gotta understand that I grew up with Transformers that transformed, we didn't have these non-transforming things until Action Masters came along and we all know what happened after that!![]()
I'm simply, not a fan of the statues and busts. Sure, they're great to look at, amazing detailing, but that's all you can do with them. Look at them. You can pose them, you can't transform them, and heaven forbid you drop some of those busts!![]()
You watch though Bumbled, you'll come round to my way of thinking sooner or later and then you'll want to own all transforming Transformers.

I love the Unleashed Bumble Bee. It looks awesome behind all of my TFs. Prime will be mine very shortly.

However, for something like a legend, which is the same size, good alt mode, no so good robot mode, and even worse paint job.... why should it be worth just as much as a worlds smallest Transformer?.... especially when the worlds smallest Transformer is imported and still runs for about the same price, but with an exceptional greater quality...

I've had a few WSTF myself and honestly, they're not a great as you claim them to be. Some are pretty flimsy. I prefer the more robust Legends. Also, I don't recall ever paying one $5-7 like you're claiming.
