Is another female Transfan *shifty eyes* and been a fan since the cartoon first came out. *L* actually some of my earilest childhood memories are scenes from the cartoon XD I still have my Transformers toys, the really nice ones that first came out that had die-cast metal parts *loves her Jazz and Grimlock far too much* They're all packed away in their boxes in the wardrobe at the mo though as I don't have enough room to have all my toys out.

I've been reading the comics the last couple of years as comics+ transformers is always good ^^ I have a massive toy collection so don't collect a huge amount of transformer toys, only the ones I really like.

HEY! Care Bears rocked! And Jem. And, ok, so I used to imagine the cutsie characters on other shows in massive battles and having collossal brawls. So? The Care Bears would have powers that resembled the pictures on their tummies, like Visionaries.

Care Bears is arguably unisex, but there sure are a lot of stars, hearts and rainbows for boys to really watch it. I liked when they did their "care bear stare". When I was young, I used to call the pictures on their bellies their "staring".

Through, it sucks not being able to have a job and blow your whole paycheck on transformers, ha.

Oh oh, i remember watching reruns of TMNT. I had a crapload of figures. Through, this was when i was 3 or so.

I think the reason why many male TF collectors and people outside of the TF fandom don't believe that there are a lot of women in it is because there were great fandoms for mainly girls back when G1 took place.

For the most part, the majority of girls and boys had their own separate arenas back then.

Boys had Transformers, GI Joe, and Thundercats

Girls had Jem, My Little Pony, and Rainbow Brite/Strawberry Shortcake dolls.

That isn't to say that I'm stating that women shouldn't be TF fans and I'm not surprised that we have as many female members here as we do, but just stating how the mainstream public is probably assuming things are.

I, for one, am glad that we have a growing number of female members.

I'm getting tired of the sausage-fest that is Burn, JP, and Shadowman.

Heyo, i'm a guy.
My girlfriend wasn't interested in transformers, but i took her to see the new movie and she loved it. She was the only one in the cinema vocally reacting (shouting 'oh my god' whenever a good guy got hurt!) and she cried at the end.
Now she wants me put my tfs on display when we get a new flat.
She said she's gonna buy me leader prime, i wonder if after that she'll get addicted to buying them like me!

Yes im one I have seen TRANSFORMERS 3 times hoping for a third time I have about 13 AUTOBOT figures and 1 deceptacon that is Scorge and 1 origanal predacon the Dragon MEGATRON.

if you haven't you don't want to...but you'll know if a fan is a girl when they ramble on about how cute Screamer is...as for me I'm more of a Thuindercracker fangirl
