ARTIST/COLOURIST WANTED For UK TF Convention Artwork

Hello
For the last 5 or 6 years I've been producing artwork (Interior and back cover) for the UK Transformers convention Auto Assembly magasine. I am aiming to do the same this year (12 to 14 August), but require the services of someone with better Photoshop skills than myself, with regards to the colouring.

I am planning on a humorous piece that's based on an famous/infamous oil painting, and would ideally like to have colouring done in a fashion that imitates, or alludes to this. However, I do not have the skills or knowledge necessary to even work out if this would look good or if it is possible to create this effect on robots with lots of flat metallic surfaces (well, you know what I mean).

If anyone out there would be willing to do the colours, advise me if this effect is possible, or have alternative suggestions I would be most grateful.

Although this is not the painting I will be basing it on, this is an image I've seen with the kind of oil painting look I'm thinking of.
